1st of all-THANK YOU THANK YOU for your efforts in soon to be replaced with more environmentally friendly containers and utensils!!! To those who may have complained about the owners earlier attempt at a more sustainable container, this was a GREAT effort on their part and there was NO conspiracy at lesser amounts of food.

2nd of all-I just returned from a trip to a Lake Tahoe CA-NV area and looked forward to an acai bowl there after not having been there in so long and originally falling in love with the acai bowl there years before it ever saw KY. Well, I can tell you I was extremely disappointed and looked forward to getting one back home in KY at BETTER BLENDS!!!

AND, just a repeat remark on the amazing youngsters working there. I'm not sure how you found them and keep them in today's workforce but they are wonderful. The regulars know my order and toppings by heart and also, no utensil since I carry my reusable for less waste.

Better BLENDS is a rare treat and I look forward to your premiere sustainable containers as an example for other food providers in our area.

1/2021-LOVE the Acai bowls! Best I've had outside of California and Colorado. Workers are great too. The ONLY thing I would ask of the owner is to switch to biodegradable utensils and containers. This is such and opportunity to be a leader in our area for minimizing plastic pollution. Just a quick Google search brought up 1000 biodegradable spoons made of plant starch for $46.00. I would gladly pay any added charge for helping our environment. Might as well make the containers and utensils as awesome as the food...

I love what’s offered here! Excellent taste and nutrition for someone who would be counting macros or weight training.

The only bummer is that for over a year and a half I have asked REPEATEDLY for a nut butter alternative instead of the highly inflammatory fungus also known as “peanut butter”. I’ve even spoken with the owner himself on occasion. And yet, ONLY peanut butter is offered- which cancels out all the best tasting blends like reseese.

The other bummer is that my absolute favorite blend in the world called “cinnamon roll” is repeatedly left OFF the online menu, so instead of being able to order my favorite blend and pick up fast like the other blends, I have to walk in and wait in line and ask for it at the register in person, since they won’t make it ahead over the phone without an online official order. It’s very strange. But honestly, even after almost THREE YEARS of asking for these two things, and being a loyal return customer, I keep coming back because it’s so delicious and I’m serious about my nutrition tracking while still feeling like I’m having a splurge with high protein and low sugar.

But it really would be nice to feel heard. (Since I buy on average two shakes a week one would 🤔 THINK that it would matter to the owner.) Just saying. Still highly highly recommend this awesome place . And everyone who works here is amazing.

Also HUGE DIFFERENCE if you ask for it “extra blended”- the flavor...
