The absolute WORST experience I have ever had at any Outback. We were looking celebrate my dad’s birthday this evening, and arrived at 5:45. Took 55 minutes to get a table, which it was a busy Sunday evening, a wait is to be expected. After being sat, we waited 10 minutes for someone to check on our table. We had 3 young kids and made sure to order our food with our drinks to speed up that process. We received the drinks, apps, and starter sides within 10 minutes of the order, so we figured the food wouldn’t take too long. We waited. And waited. And waited. In a 30 minute time frame, I watched only 2 trays leave from the kitchen. Our waitress refilled our drinks once and disappeared. We didn’t see her again until we were at the hour mark of sitting at our table. Thankfully we brought our own dessert & had it before dinner since it and our waitress were no where to be found. When she FINALLY came over, after we flagged her down, she let us know the kitchen was just crazy, and some of the kitchen staff were talking about just up & quitting. She also mentioned a table of 11 also left before receiving their food. We asked to just get it to go. She said of course, and then disappeared. Again. By this time were just wanting to pay and leave. The table beside us was also having a terrible experience, waiting over and hour and received cold food. As they were getting their to go boxes for the food they finally received, the manager stopped shortly by to tell them they would have their order after they got another to go order completed. We interjected & asked the manager to just cancel our to go order, we’ve been sitting here over an hour and our waitress was no where. He just said “sure”, and walked away. No checking to see what was going on or apologize for the wait. No acknowledgement. Nothing. So we walked out.
I understand staffing is slim, wait times happen, and things get backed up. But this was an absolute failure on management, kitchen staff, and the wait staff. Complete lack of communication & courtesy to one another and to the customers. When you had the amount of people walk out of your restaurant upset this evening, I can’t imagine you will have many customers left if you continue working the restaurant...
Read moreWorst dining experience in years. We were seated by a hostess and told someone would be with us shortly. Before anyone came by to take our drink/appetizer order, the four of us had time to discuss what we wanted and was ready to order our complete meal. We ordered. We waited. We were finally brought our drinks after about 10 minutes after ordering. When we first arrived I "checked in" on Facebook. After a long wait for our food I checked to see when I "checked in" and it had been 50 minutes earlier. After about an hour, and according to the server just before we were to be served, I was told that they were out of something that I had ordered and asked what I would like in replacement. I asked if it would be ready immediately and was assured that it would. They brought our food and it was not even luke warm. The only thing on my plate that was even remotely warm was the middle part of my baked potato. The chicken was cold and the grease on the bottom had started to congeal. Plus it was obvious that the oil in the fryer needed changed. Didn't finish my meal and was very disappointed. Forgot to mention that the blooming onion was about 50% burnt. None of us had steak and the check was still over $100.00 before tip. We will never eat there again and I have told my friends and co-workers of my experience. I think the worst part is that it was supposed to be a treat for us from our son who has autism. He had asked us a few times to go because he had never been. After our experience and lack of quality of food, there was no way I was going to let my son pay 100 bucks out of his pocket. Read moreThis was a bad experience. We called ahead and arrived on time. There were 3 of us celebrating our daughters graduation. After checking in with the hostess we were told a 10 - 15 minute wait; they were not busy on this Monday afternoon at 1pm. After waiting 25 minutes to be seated, I checked in with hostess again. We were seated within 3 minutes. Our waitress took over 5 minutes to bring our drinks, 2 waters and a lemonade. After another 10 minutes she took our order. At this point we still didn't have the bread we had been promised 15 minutes prior. Finally our Bloomin Onion arrived only to be burnt on the outside yet soggy and uncooked in the middle. Not to mention there was still runny batter on the inside of this appetizer. Moving on finally to our meals...horrible. Two of us had steak and I had a chicken sandwich. The steaks were cooked into submission, the sides were incorrect, and everything was plated incorrectly. The chicken sandwich was a soggy mess with the toppings thrown on top. The bun was so soggy I couldn't pick it up to have a bite. One steak was eaten because she was starving, one steak was sent back. Second steak arrived only to be seasoned so much it was too salty to safely consume. The waitress never apologized and informed us she prioritized the second steak. Also, the mashed potatoes that were with one steak were scraped off that plate and given to another party member. How do we know that...the mashed potatoes had steak juice on them. The manager did come to our table and after 2 attempts she adjusted our bill. We still paid for one plate. $15.88. We spent over 90 minutes at this restaurant only to leave...
