Ordered an online photo book. Halfway through the following day I wondered what was up - orders never take that long. The counter person said they had no record of the order. I showed them my phone, then they eventually found the book half done on the counter. Then said their machine is always having issues and guessed that was why the employee last night quit on it and didn't tell anyone.
So they said "no problem, we'll do it by hand sometime... But it won't be, like, next week". I wasn't brimming with confidence, but was on a time crunch.
So they did get the order done but.... it looks like they tried to do it blindfolded. Everything is crazily off-center. I can't believe they put it in an envelope. I didn't look at it until I got home, but wouldn't have mattered, because I didn't have time to sit there while they try to hand bind it again & if the person who did it actually thought that is how a book is supposed to look, I'd rather they not touch a redo.
I then asked Walgreens online to give me a free shipping code so I could have their central location resend the order. They said to just resubmit online to another store.
Problem with that logic (and the online rep couldn't seem to comprehend what I'm about to say, b/c I brought it up), is that the store said they knew their tool to make/glue the books was broken, yet the Walgreens system still routes books there. Now they want me to call every Walgreens to find out who has a reputably working machine? Just give me the shipping code so I don't have to deal with local poorly-maintained machines

I LOVE the Pharmacy drive-thru window option and how friendly the pharmacy is as well.I remember a few years back when they had trouble with the window being slower. That has not been the case for a few years now and I love the service. Also they give my car-puppy a treat every time we come through. It is true I have had a window attendant here and there who was not really "window-friendly". However, that has been the exception and not the rule here. They are easy to connect with on the phone because they have the human option. so wait for that option if you prefer to talk to someone.I need to talk to someone about filling a few prescriptions with no refills, so they look them up and call them for me and are always so nice about it. I appreciate people being nice to me because I'm always sick.. I recommend this location as my overall favorite because they are open 24 hours, have the drive-thru pharmacy, and generally speaking, almost always has a friendly helpful window-attendant. By the way I don't know her name, but I've had a couple of exceptional interactions with the lady--store-manager who helped me get my soft drinks I think because she could tell I was sick overall and weak.She was very kind. She seems to genuinely care about the customers and our service we receive. Also a shout-out to the attendants at the front cash registers. Read moreThe absolute worst person I have ever dealt with. His name is Markell. This location "lost" my disposal cameras. They told me week after week when I called that they just weren't in from Fiji yet.... I called every single week. It went from one week to 90 days until they would be done they said. Once the 90 days hit I started asking for a manager. The first time I spoke to one it was a female on night shift and she told me the order was canceled by Fiji and she didn't know why. That the morning shift manager would have to call Fiji and get my films back to me. And that he would call me the next day. Never happened. I've been calling the store for a week with no luck Getting to this manager. Finally today I spoke to him. (Markell) he basically shrugged his shoulders and said tough luck. He said the photo order was there the whole time but I never picked up so they tossed them out. I asked how that was possible when I called weekly and never received a call.... he told me he doesn't know what i expect from him. He never apologized, never offered help, but instead acted like it was my fault..... absolutely unacceptable. I will never get these photos back that were very sentimental to my family. This is insane and he should not be in customer service if this is how he acts. And for what actually happened to my order... I'll never know.
