El Taco Feliz 2 — Restaurant in Florence

Our family’s order was birra tacos (with consomé), steak tacos, chicken tacos, al pastor burrito, & elote. The burrito was good, but our least favorite item. Everything else was so much better that we’ll probably skip the burrito in future orders. But don’t get me wrong, it was still good.

We were split on the elote. Half of us loved it while the other half thought it was good. Again, it was still good to everyone, just not as good to some as others.

Everyone really liked the steak & chicken tacos; but the birria tacos stole the show. Phenomenal.

We will definitely be back.

Update: I went back. I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to not order the birria tacos. Got that and some more elote and carnitas tacos. It was even better this time around.

I’m pretty sure you won’t find better tacos anywhere in a 100 mile...

My boyfriend got elote (nice and fresh!) and papas fritas extra fajita mix and camarón thats $6 extra and they didn’t even put carne asada in it. which were like Steak ‘n Shake fries (SUPER SMALL) and didn’t even fill the whole takeout box half of it was empty still for $20 is crazy and I got un burrito de pollo and the burrito had no chicken in it????? A literal veggie burrito. Tasteless to say the least. I need a refund I’m so disappointed. We’ve been putting off trying this restaurant for awhile now. And this was our first experience. Truly a waste of $40. We’re both so disappointed and still...

This place is the closest we have gotten in our desperate search for authentic Mexican tacos. I order street tacos constantly and am always disappointed, but this place completely lived up to the reviews online. The tacos were great, the guacamole is amazing and the service was excellent. The Verde sauce was delicious, the burn of the red sauce will haunt you for days 🤣. Great spot and so happy to have found somewhere with truly great...
