Visited a year ago with a review of 4 stars. Have been a few times since with similar experiences. Today was definitely not a good day. I was visiting today with my wife, two of my children (grown ups), and two grandchildren. I like heat and hot for my wings. We all had something different for our meals. We had two appetizers, chips and queso (great), big pretzel with queso and peppers (great also)! Drinks came out ok and the wait to be seated was very minimal. They weren't very busy for dinner. My wife had boneless wings, which was the same for the grandkids. My son had a burger with fries which was good. My daughter had a chicken breast with salad meal and she said hers was good. I had a medium order of bone in wings with the Desert Heat dry rub and celery with blue cheese dressing. I wanted to try a different flavor today. My food arrived along with the rest of the crowd and I was ready to eat. Picked up a wing first without looking at the rest and it was not hot. Felt as though they had been sitting out of the fryer from a previous order and had very little temperature heat left. They were cooked but not hot. The dry rub had good flavor but it was diminished due to the lack of heat from sitting. The waitress had been a bit hard to get her attention which was odd so I kept eating. After a couple wings I wanted a bite of the celery. I picked up a piece and it was dry and the ends were turning white from being dry. I am used to other places where you get your celery a little wet from being pulled out of ice water to keep it fresh. I got the attention of the waitress and asked her for some fresh celery. Her off handed response was, "they are always served that way". I was a bit surprised so I had to ask for a knife to cut off the ends. I got it after several minutes. Gut down to the last two wings and picked one up. After all the others being correctly cooked but not warm, I get one having been way overcooked and crunchy all the way to the bone. I was done. All in all most of the dinner was good but I was left wanting for hot wings and a pleasant experience. I did not get either today. I'm not sure if I will return to this location again. I will try some of the other locations in the future but it...
Read moreOverall 3.5 stars. Wasn't busy, service was fine and food was good. Prices aren't bad compared to other restaurants. Place is getting dated and could use and upgrade but it was clean atleast. All good things, so what dropped my rating?. Firstly. The menu. Lots of new stuff and or deals and none of this is on the menu, you have to ask and if your server is clueless, then that's a different story. Luckily ours knew what was what. Simple, just have an insert or something. Not sure why you wouldn't promote your deals anyways. Next, I ordered a tall Stella, server said ok, comes back 6 min later says sorry we only have bottles. Ok then bring me a bottle. 7 min later server brings me a bottle and informs me it's the very last one. Odd, but ok so it took 13 min to tell me that? All of that was only a half star knock though. Things happen, the full star knock came to the manager. There is a full appetizer sampler for like 16 bucks (ridiculous mark up btw) it's has some wings and onion rings and cheese sticks. I am allergic to onions yoni asked if we could sub the onion rings for more cheese sticks. We do this in other resturants no problem. Server says I don't know if we can do that. I asked her to go and check for me then. Comes back and says sorry boss said we can't Do that. Excuse me? Why not. I informed her that was stupid and we won't get an appetizer then. So they are out 16 extra bucks for what? The markup on those things are like 300 percent so worse case they lost what 5 cents swapping the rings for sticks? Manager didn't even have the nerve to come put and say anything either. Not that I wanted them too but when someone has an allergy it's usually customary to accommodate. My wife asked for no blue cheese on her salad and that was ok atleast lol. I didn't get lettuce on my burger and that was ok too, but no swap ls allowed on over priced samplers? Ridiculous. I have been here atleast 70 times in my life. Each year it seems to decline a little. Management seems to be the reason. I don't fully recommend this location to dine out but still is a decent place to grab wings beer (just not stella) and...
Read moreI probably wouldn’t advise anyone to come here and I certainly won’t be coming back to this location. I came here today with my boyfriend and the server was ok she was polite but the food was not up to par. The chips and salsa, looked nothing like the picture and it wasn’t spicy at all. It just seemed thrown together very quickly. When we finally got our wings and fries out, I was very disappointed that it was all cold. Normally, I would complain, but I was so hungry I just said forget it and knew I wouldn’t return. At first I ordered 20 wings, 10 spicy garlic and 10 Asian zing. On one of the wings there was such little sauce I thought I only got 9 of the Asian zing. Then, the carrots and celery looked completely dried out, like my public school lunch has seen better days. It’s not the waitress fault the food looked like that, but my boyfriend being a former waiter was appalled she’d even bring it out to us with it looking like that. The food must’ve been sitting out for a while which I don’t know why it wasn’t brung out to us because there’s no more than 10 customers in the restaurant right now (It’s 4pm on a Wednesday). Like the food wasn't even warm it was cold. While this isn’t the worst food I’ve had it was no where near good and I won’t be returning with my friends or family, I’d rather make a bit of a longer drive to a different wings place and make my money...
