Florence location at 5 pm.
This restaurant needs to be condemned. The complete restaurant needs to be deep cleaned and renovated. The booths are falling in, the floors are a greasy mess and Iâve seen cleaner restrooms in a truck stop. It seems to me the business is on life support.
Are you eating at the barâŚAre you sure?
There was a 10-minute wait to get a table so we told the hostess we would go to the bar and get a drink while we waited on our table. The hostess asked me if we wanted to eat at the bar even though I just told her the plan and said no we prefer a table. After about 20 min after seeing other parties being sat before us (we were only 2) I went back to the hostess to inquire about our table. That's when the same hostess asked me for the second time if I would like to eat at the bar. I explained again that we would like to have a table and not eat at the bar.
After another 5 minutes the same confused hostess approached us and asked us AGAIN if we were eating at the barâŚagain I told her we were waiting on a table. Another few minutes passed and the manager came up to us, called my name and asked if we were eating at the bar. We explained to him no we were STILL waiting on a table where he suggested a high top IN THE BAR! We should have just left right then. To his credit he did take us to a table 2 minutes later. Upon entering the dining room I saw at least 1/3 of the tables open. No I understand the staff may be short staffed but my waiter assured me there was a complete crew.
I hate to be one of those dudes but I spent over 20 years in the restaurant and pub business in every capacity from dishwasher to GM. I can say I am well versed in the business and you have a HUGE problem when 1/3 of your tables are unoccupied at Sat night at 5 Oâclock.
We finally get a tableâŚ
We finally got to our table and the table was greasy and every booth along that wall was falling apart from obvious neglect. Our spinach dip appetizer was awfulâŚcold, all spinach and lacked flavor. But the food (salmon and chicken fried steak) was hot and prepared well. The menus were covered in food and grease, the table top Point Of Sales (POS) stations were covered in grease bacteria factories. While at the bar a customer asked for an extra plate to split an entree and was served a dirty plate. Our bar glasses were sticky & the drinks were terrible. The Texas T tasted like dishwater, the pain killer was a sugar filled coconut punch with no booze. The dining room floor was greasy and the menâs bathroom was disgusting. A check of the health records from 10-21 was an 88. But I didnât look in the kitchen
I can honestly say it appears that the management is just buying time. If this is a franchise location it needs to be closed immediately. I hate to put food service employees out of jobs but I also hate to condone a hard working family paying for a night out only to be rewarded with a disgusting restaurant. This is a NATIONAL FOOD SERVICE CHAIN not Bobâs food and Bait shack!
When we left at 6:30 there was a 45 minute wait and â of the tables in the restaurant were unoccupied. Our section of 8 tables had one occupied...
Read moreWas so disappointed in this location. We had been to the one in Pigeon Forge while on vacation, so we decided to try this location the other night. I would never go again. My margarita had been overfilled so that the entire glass was sticky (as were the table and my clothes from said glass). The loaded fries were decent, but the tortilla chips with queso were inedible. This is the exact same thing we ordered at the other location. But at this location, the cheese tasted funky (like it was past it's date) and the chips served with it were stale. We thought it couldn't get any worse, but then we both ordered a steak (his well done, mine medium rare). His came out burnt and the outside so gritty that it had the texture of a mouthful of sand. When I cut mine open, instead of being medium rare it was well done. I sent mine back, and his was taken off the check. When my second one came out, it was crispy on the outside and medium well on the inside. When I said that it was still not medium rare, the server just asked "Well it is better than it was isn't it?" And when I said well yes but it still isn't how it should be, she just left the table. At that point we had been there for nearly an hour and a half, were still not full, and was just ready to get home so we just paid and left. Still ended up spending $45 on food that I would not even feed to my dog, and that was with his food being taken off. So disappointing and I would recommend that no one ever come here again. Completely despicable service...
Read moreI've never been here before but I will go back. Was not super busy but when we walked in, there was no host. We waited for 25 minutes just fir someone to acknowledge us. During this time mind you multiple servers and their manager came up to look at the seating arrangements and still didn't even look at us. They had this large tropical fish tank that entertained the little one or else we would have left. I'm glad we didn't though. We were seated at a very large long table which I like. I like room to not only ear but for all my plates. I will always order more food if my table is large, just a hint to other restaurants out there. Server was excellent and friendly but the odd thing was, we were halfway through our drinks and the appetizer was just dropped off, and another server came and said sorry for your wait what can I get you. I looked at here while eating my triple combo appetizer and said, umm someone already took care of us?? Aside for that, food was excellent. Very large portions, cooked perfectly and pretty good prices compared to other places. Menu had many choices and we ordered pretty much all of it. I gotta say their chicken fried steak was some of the best I've ever had. Very large, hand breaded and a thick piece of steak in the middle. The margaritas were on point. Great price and nice big glasses like at the Mexican restaurants. Good mix of flavor and alcohol. Overall good place to dine. I can't believe I've never been here before, but we...
