ALDI — Local services in Florence

Today was my first time going to an Aldi, ever, and I’m not sure I’ll go back to this location. The girl who rang me out was super rude and not friendly at all from the start, wouldn’t let me use the ALDI bags I was attempting to purchase with no explanation at all. All she said was “Give me your cart.” Which I had my seven month baby’s car seat in, hence why I wanted to purchase some bags. I had to take my baby’s car seat out and set her on the floor next to me as the girl practically tossed all my things into my cart. I offered her an apology and told her it was my first time being there so I really wasn’t familiar with how things worked and all she said was “it’s fine.” Super disappointing when you get treated like this! I work in customer service and understand that we all have our days, but you don’t have to pass that bad energy...

There are 2 things that I'm not fond of. 1 the quarter for the cart which I totally understand & you get your quarter back & the other thing is they don't bag your items. Which I understand as both keep their cost down so don't misunderstand I do like Aldi. Their cranberry pecan chicken salad use to be good. They must have changed brands because it is mediocre now. The blueberry breakfast biscuits are just as good as BelVita's at a less price. If you want to save a few $, give Aldi's a try. Don't forget to take a quarter for the cart & bags to put your groceries in. Always take an extra bag or 2 as I have discovered that I buy more than I planned on. I love Aldi's! Don't be fooled as a first time customer with unfamiliar brand names, the contents are what matters anyway. Their organic products are way cheaper and my wife and I save easily $100/month on our groceries going there. They always have the best prices, but we do Kroger and Meijer if there are good deals on other products. Examples: I eat whole grain bread without breached or enriched flour. Even on sale, they usually cost around $3 at Meijer or Kroger. It is always a $1.79 at Aldi's. I drink almond milk and even on sale, it costs around $2.69 for a half gallon. At Aldi's, it is...
