Twin Peaks — Restaurant in Florence

April 20, 2021

Kristina Did a wonderful job as my server, and the food was great. Kristina was very attentive, and took the time to sit down and talk to me when she wasn’t busy. The food came out quickly and hot, even though this place is only been open two weeks. I will be returning to Twin Peaks, even though it is a two hour bus ride for me. The only minor issue I had was not being able to sit Directly at the bar, but this wasn’t and wasn’t an issue with Twin Peaks as it was an issue with COVID-19.The whole staff was great, and the manager took the time to talk to me about my experience.

Went back today April 26, 2021 I was able to stay at the bar today, and I like sitting at the bar more. My bartender , Brittany, was very friendly, And socialized with me when she wasn’t busy. The food was great also, and reasonably priced.I will give Twin Peaks * stars again today.I will return sometime in May.

May 3, 2021.

Went back to Twin Peaks today and sat at the bar. My bartenders, Magdalene and Kelsey, were super nice and very helpful. The cheeseballs as appetizers we’re good. I also ordered soup and sandwich lunch. I got Half of a BLT and a bowl of the brisket chili. The sandwich is good, but the chili was a little spacey and had a different taste than normal chili. I doubt I will get the chili again. Overall it was a good time.

Went back to Twin Peaks today, and was welcomed by name from Kelsey and Magdalene. As always the food was great, but the conversation was wonderful. It looks like this may be a weekly thing for me.

Well another week pass by and I still can’t get enough of Twin Peaks restaurant. Was greeted by two new bartenders, Nikki and Whitney, and they were friendly and talkative especially Nikki. The chips and queso are good as always. The chips and queso was very good, and I tried the Philly cheesesteak and it was good also. However, I can’t emphasize enough how friendly and interacting with customers by the bartenders is the main reason I go to twin peaks.And I definitely can’t complain about the pretty ladies that work there.

Went back to Twin Peaks Florence today, and a major change was the barstools were pushed up to the bar finally. Brooke and Britney did a phenomenal job, and we’re friendly and talkative. Brooke even noticed me from another restaurant that I frequent and she used to work at.Twin Peaks chicken is very good and has a good chicken. It is wonderful to see peoples smiling faces After a year of being hidden by masks. I will definitely be returning soon.

Returned to Twin Peaks today, and had a wonderful time. The food was good, but the service was better. Kelsey, my bartender, is a very sweet person. I will make this a regular routine visit in this place.

Went back to Twin Peaks Florence today, and enjoyed myself as usual. My bartenders, Taryn and Anna, were friendly and talkative. Both ladies are pretty, but I imagine that they mare even prettier inside. They were both a delight to talk to With. The food was great as usual ,but I go More for the socialization and conversation with the bartenders.

4/22/2024 - Overall, decent place to eat normally buttttt... for the this visit and in a long time I had a bad food night.

Chicken wings - skin was soft and not crunchy on the Smoked & Grilled wings. I thought I was eating mushy chicken, slightly undercooked. the skin should be crunchy not soft.

Mac & Cheese - Noodles are WAY overcooked and the cheese sauce is too thick (paste), was hard to eat and heavy salt. Cheese is naturally salty, you don't need to "add more salt"

Fries - you can taste the oil and that they don't clean their fryers at least once a week or maybe the filter isn't working?. 376 deg usually and clean your fryers, designate a fryer for fish and chicken separately. I could taste the fish in the fries.

Broccoli - was really the only good thing on the plate.

I dare not mention this while there, as the last time I did say something about the food, the chef came out and gave me a dirty look (learn how to cook good food if you don't want complaints). Food prices are too expensive now to be screwing up the cooking!!!

You can tell most of the wait staff doesn't want to work there, they seem "fake smiley" and of course it's a "family restaurant" with the skimpy short shorts and push-up everything and stripper glitter with heavy makeup. Always fun to be sitting at a "SPORTS BAR" to relieve the stress of the day and have a screaming child at the next table or children running around in the restaurant. YIKES.

One of the Waitresses told me they have to share/split their tips with the cleaning staff a 50% cut. I know for a fact this is against Federal and State laws. Clean this up or I will make a call to the county attorney and the attorney general...

If I could put zero stars I would. This was the worst restaurant bar experience I ever had. The bartender didn't want to acknowledge me and when I got her attention she acted like she didn't want me to order from the bar. "Are you sure you want to order here"... "Wouldn't you rather order from a server" that's what she told me with a very condescending attitude. Then when I asked about the house beers, she spoke so fast I couldn't understand anything she said. After she gave me the beers and I sat down I waited 18 minutes (I timed it so it was probably longer) until she acknowledged my party at the bar. Meanwhile, she acknowledged everybody else at the bar. I asked the guy next to me (who sat down 15 minutes after me) if he's been here before and he said "5 or 6 times, when you first show up they (the staff) can be a little cold but if you tough it out and keep coming back they'll warm up to you". I watched other folks who sat at the bar after me get served beers, given menus, and order food. Meanwhile, the bartender refused to acknowledge me and not the other bartender acknowledge or even make eye contact with me. This was a horrible experience, I didn't order food out of fear that the staff would spit in it. I was looking for a manager and I found him literally flirting with a group of servers so I knew that was a no go. This was by far my worst restaurant experience in a long time. I was friendly and pleasant with the staff, with a smile on my face the whole time. Furthermore, I also have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and this behavior was totally unacceptable. At least your beer was cold so I guess...
