King's Lite Express — Restaurant in Florence

It's not the first time I've eaten from this location. Its usually good and I enjoy it. Today is definitely not one of those days. I ordered a shrimp lo mein. As I was eating my meal for lunch I so happen to mix some of the rice with the noodles and as I was doing so looked through the meal a little more closer I discover a what would look like a metal shaving. Like one you find on the metal brushes that you would use to scrub a pot or pan. Lucky I saw it before I just started to dig into the meal. Let's just say I'm definitely not satisfied with this. I could've bit it and cut my mouth or anything. I called the restaurant to tell the woman that I found it in my food and she couldn't understand anything I was saying she thought I was trying to purchase another...

You don't really get service here so that's why I only gave a 3 star! But mannn the crab wontons, they are the best!! & everything else we have eaten here has always been good. I am 9 1/2 months pregnant so for the last 4 months I have eaten here at least once a week just so I can get the crab wontons.. they could do better with the meat they put in their lo meins and fried rice, they only put 3 to 5 small pieces in all them noodles and rice, the chicken wings have to be some of the best in town, and the other things we have tried have been above average too! Their General Tso's Chicken lunch dish was sub-par. The coating on the lest than quality tasting chicken was mediocre and the dish didn't include broccoli even though broccoli was in the pictorial presentation of the dish (every other Chinese restaurant in Florence that I am aware of includes broccoli). The ham fried rice was bland - probably pork fried rice that is generally served with General Tso's chicken would have been better. The only thing good about my lunch was the egg roll that came with it. I think it was one they bought ready made and did not make it themselves because it was the only thing good about the meal.
