Placed a carry out order and there were only two table occupied. There were 4 other carry out orders placed after mine. Everyone who came in after me received their orders in a timely fashion. However, for reasons unknown, my order took forever! Had I not already paid I definitely would have left. One employee had asked my name to get my order because she knew I had been waiting a very long time, but she couldn't find anything kept asking if I placed it under another name. I drive like 60 miles to come and get food and sauces that I'm not able to get where I live. I have been to this Larosas many times and have been going there for many years. But this visit the service was extremely slow. I was very dissatisfied. After I finally did get my order of good. I purchased many jars of pizza and pasta sauce. I asked the lady if she could please wrap them or something as I was going to be traveling many miles and didn't wanted my jars of sauce to get broken. She acted as if I had asked her to do something strenuous. I even told her give me the paper and I don't mind to do it. I'm really dissatisfied with my visit here. I go to many different locations of LaRosas and this time I was really disappointed in their service. So much so, I'm sure it will be almost forever, before I come back to this location of LaRosas. I would even drive the hour or so to go to the original one or the one in Mason or Lawrenceburg, as the service here is so slow and unfriendly. I just don't understand what has happened with their employees at this location. My visit was at 11:30am and they were not busy at all upon my arrival so I don't understand why the employees were so unfriendly with the customers. There were waitresses out front smoking and taking selfies 1 hour after opening. I waited over an hour to get LaRosas to eat and take home from this location. Next time I will spend that time driving to Lawrenceburg location. And get the Kroger in my area to carry the sauces again. Still loving...
Read moreWent out for a family night with the wife and kids, we had heard LaRosa's, in Florence, was a good family restaurant. We were seated promptly but the waitress didn't come and take our order until after we had been waiting nearly 20 minutes. Then, when she was bringing out our food nearly 45 minutes later we had to remind her about the items that she had forgotten. We also had to keep asking for refills on the sweet tea, and then as I went to pay the bill, this place is so antiquated they do not even have chip readers or tap to pay options at the register. Meanwhile the manager is berating and belittling me because my card had a security skin on it so people could not read or steal the information on it and it was just for a chip reader or tap to pay but they did not have either of those options. I had to destroy my card by taking off the skin and running it through their out dated card swiper, meanwhile the manager is still berating me in front of my wife and children and all the customers within earshot. Now, I can handle a little bit of berating, I was in the Marine Corps for years but she was doing this quite purposefully and very loudly trying to humiliate me, again, in front of my family and other customers. I plan on panning this place so bad and spreading the word to all of my fellow veterans and others DO NOT go to LaRosa's...
Read moreArrived with two groups of 3 ahead of my wife and I. Quite a few open tables that were not ready to be seated at. The hostess who was a short girl and a taller kid at the hostess counter did not appear to have a clue as to what to do. They told the group in front of us it would be 5 minutes and I heard a waitress ask why the people were waiting and they were waiting for them to be seated. The hostess then told us 10 minutes. We said ok and sat down in the waiting area. The same waitress came back a few minutes later and asked the same question again. The hostess was wondering why she asked. The groups in front of us were seated and we still waited. After a few minutes the waitress came up and told the hostess and the kid to go bus tables and asked me what we needed for seating. She immediately seated us and from there on things went well. Waitress was great and food was good. I had a problem with the hostess station and with the other waitress showing her emotions too easily. I appreciate her trying to help but went about it the wrong way. My calzone was very good and my wife had a chicken strips over salad meal which she said was good. I have been here in the past and I would have given 5 stars. Tonight did not measure up to past...
