Rafferty's Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Florence

So we have an early flight so we came to stay the night before. Rafferty's looked good and we wanted to catch the Thursday Night Football. Atmosphere was nice, we sat at the bar. My husband and I ordered two old fashions. They were not drinkable. Too much bitters. I asked her to add some cherry juice in hopes of sweetening it up. Nope. So we ordered another drink, without drinking the first. We told her we couldn't drink them. *crickets. Then we ordered dinner. I asked for spicy chicken soup with a side salad with NO bacon.. I even commented on how that was an odd request, but that I did not like bacon. My husband irder the other soup, potato, and the porkchops with broccoli. We were both served potato soup covered in bacon! We couldn't get her attention because the other 2 people at the bar...only 2 other people, were more captivating talking about thermostats. So I ate the soup (after removing the bacon). Then we got our salad. My husband asked for more ranch, he got blue cheese, unfortunately he didn't realize until he had it on the salad. Again, we ate it. We asked for the bill and it took 15 minutes for her to come back. And guess what? We had to pay for all 4 drinks! As a service industry person, I don't leave bad reviews when it is something that could have been created by a cook in the back, or some other aspect. This was clearly the bartender not paying attention to us. Only the other two people at the bar. We won't be back. PS we had to figure out how to unlock the...

We've had several very good meals and service here in the past, however this was not the case this evening. We we seated in the bar area where we quickly realized there were a couple very loud patrons. We decided to stay where we were and ignore them. We became disappointed in the highly vulgar and offensive language from both of the patrons. It was very obvious that other diners were feeling the same way. One of our meals was very good as well as the appetizer, however a salad was served with more than half of the lettuce brown and wilted. When the server asked how everything was we relayed our disappointment in the offensive nature of the patrons and the salad. A few minutes later a manager came by to apologize and removed a portion of the salad from our bill. We greatly appreciate the effort to make it right however the patrons had obviously been over served either there or before arriving, and we're negatively impacting the dining atmosphere for many. Management could hear the language and should have stepped in to correct this. We asked for to go boxes and asked for the check. As we got up to leave they were seating a family with a small child to now witness this behavior. Do better Raffertys this isn't a good...

I used to love Rafferty's but this may be my last visit. There were four of us and we sat at a booth in the bar area. We were seated promptly.

We all ordered steak or prime rib which came with salads and croissants and the child ordered a burger. We also ordered alcoholic beverages. The drinks came out quickly but we waited a long time for our salads. When they finally came out, our steaks we're delivered within 5 minutes. The server tried to set them on the table but there was no room and we asked for them to be held in the kitchen so we could have time to finish our salads. The server looked perturbed, like we we're asking a lot.

When we requested our meals all the meat was cold and not not very tasty. A manager came by to see how everything was and we told her but she didn't offer any kind of apology or offer to warm the food.

We were all disappointed and talked about how the place was going downhill based on this and previous experiences.
