Walked in through the front door, no signage indicating we needed to seat ourselves, waited a few minutes to be acknowledged by any wait staff as they seemed at capacity except for a couple visible booths, waited some more...nothing, had to walk over to a waitress that was at a till to ask about seating, didn't even get eye contact but was assured we can seat ourselves, sat and waited for about 15 minutes to get asked about drinks and ordered food since by then we were also ready for that, waited another 10+ minutes for drinks and about 20+ minutes more for the food, soggy bottom taco salad with bottom barrel greens was the wife's choice and I had the open-faced crab sandwich that was on a generic piece of white bread topped with the driest and spindly crab meat I've ever seen (and I've eaten crab growing up in the midwest), no flavor, just absolutely gross, shameful to be serving seafood on the coast like this, had to also get up and go to the waitress to ask for a glass of water after being passed by at least 6 times...I can overlook long wait times, but I cannot overlook atrocious service, we go to the coast at least once a year and I will NEVER set foot in this place again...suggestions: shrink your menu as clearly you do not want to pay for quality food or quality cooking...and maybe start holding your wait staff to a higher quality customer service...

My dad, sister and me having been frequenting this place for at least 10 years. This week, for Labor day/3 day weekend, I have been to this restaurant 3 times this weekend. Not because of the great food or service but because they have live music on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Basically their customer service has gone from great to poor. Not specifically this time but over the past 2 years. When being seated menus should be promptly placed at the table and then followed by glasses of water for each patron. This restaurant is just not doing this simple part of service. The beers on tap should be mentioned along with any other drink specials. This also is not being done here. Place settings/ flat ware wasn't brought to our table until the meal was finally brought out. Look, I like this place but it just seems that the wait staff doesn't seem to be into their job or making their customers feel welcome. The food is great. Hot and plentiful servings everytime. Great assortment of desserts, cakes and pies. Live music is the real reason I go there, fun atmosphere and great people watching. After my most recent visit, I'm not sure I will be returning. Some real changes need to be done for this restaurant to thrive. Otherwise they will stay stagnate in their mediocre customer draw and struggle to reach their...

Ordered fish & chips with clam chowder and a burrito. The fish tasted worse than frozen fish sticks from a grocery store. But, at least it was dry and flavorless. The tartar sauce tasted more like mayo than any tartar sauce from anywhere else. The clam chowder was luke-warm and had hardly any clams in it, so it had no clam flavor; it tasted more like creamy potato soup. The salsa that came with the chips was mediocre; Pace picante is 1000 times better. The burrito was average, at best, also luke-warm. But, at least I was charged $3.50 extra because I asked for carne asada meat instead of ground beef or chicken, even though there was no mention of the upcharge when I ordered. When my order arrived for takeout, I asked if they remembered plasticware, tartar sauce, and ketchup for the fries (which also came luke-warm); the waitress insisted they were all in the bag. All but the ketchup!!! UNBELIEVEABLE!!! The highlight of the meal was the slice of lemon added for garnish. We'll NEVER return and don't recommend this...

Don’t go here unless you want terrible service! Was really looking forward to trying this place. Fun location, menu looked good. Problem was, we barely made it through the door with our family and realized immediately that we weren’t welcome. No one greeted us. We had to track down any support staff. When we did, they looked annoyed that we were there. We asked if we should wait to be seated or find a seat for ourselves. The gal then irritably responded about seating restrictions… fine. No problem. We were happy to be flexible. Then, things went from bad to worse. The host rudely asked us to move. We did and then when we commented on her tone, she simply said “well, it’s common sense that you need to move.” That was the end of it. We mentioned that if they didn’t want our business, we’re happy to take it somewhere else. She clearly was okay with that as she rudely repeated her “common sense” line. In all, if you have a family or a party larger than two, do not go here. Unless, that is, if you enjoy being treated rudely.

I tried it a 2nd time, cause I never judge a place off 1 try/visit, esp. During covid! Its not fair! This time was better! Salsa still left something to desire esp. Guts! It was my birthday and mother in law bought the fam. Dinner, it was BETTER than my fajitas by myself the first time, the drink was strong both times, so I least I got my money's worth there as I always order top shelf! This time we did an appetizers plate with many things, but flaunts STAND out still, margaritas again was Quaffable!! 😉🙃 And my taco combo was GOOD! and cheaper than my crisp fajitas, 1st time!
