The food was decent. My hubby and I got a meal each and one drink each. We were with my parents so we were a party of four. Much to our surprise when we got our bill, they didn’t itemize it and the total did not match up. When we asked for an itemized bill, we found out were charged 18% because our bill was over $50. Be aware they will charge you if you are a party of 5 or more, or if your bill is over $50! Sadly, if it was about a tip, we would have tipped him at least 20% and not 18%. We feel it was very dishonest on their part to try to sneak that 18% so make sure you get an itemized bill if you eat here to make sure of what they charge you. With that up charge of 18%, the bill still didn’t add up. Even my parents bill didn’t look right and we couldn’t even figure out where the extra $5 they charged them came from. I know we definitely will not recommend this place the way they handled this. Straight up robbery. Please note, I never complain about anything. I also waitressed in college so I know the life, but this was just absolutely wrong and want everyone to be...
Read moreI am a handicap person, deaf since 2012, I have a service dog to help me with hearing things such as alarms & sirens among other things, she goes with me everywhere even to church, she is very well behaved and was trained by a Service Dog organization for 2 years before I got her. My husband and I went to Sombreros today for lunch, we had been there several times before, it's right down the street, very convent. When we went in we were asked if we wanted to sit in the main dining room or in the back room, we asked for the main dining room as before & were seated. When the waitress came to take our order she told us that in the future we would be required to sit in the back room because of my dog. This really angered me, & we got up & left without eating, I felt as though I was being treated as a second class person because I have a disability & need a service dog to help. Service dogs are legally allowed to accompany me anywhere other than a sterile environment, that means you can't wear your street clothes & have to scrub to enter, like an OR. I will not...
Read moreMy family of 5 checked in and was told that the wait was 20 to 30 minutes. We waited for 45 minutes. When we was directed to a table the table was nasty and was not cleaned off. The waitress dropped off chips and salsa she never returned. The table behind us was a little upset also having to wait. A bigger party was then sat and taken care of immediately. Then a fly was found in our basket of chips. That was last straw. I've work as a waitress for over 20 years in Las Vegas and never in my life have I ever experienced such a disorganized environment. I would never recommend this place to anyone. This place needs to be shut down immediately. This place was once Montego Bay. My husband raved about it. We were hoping that this new named place call Sombrero was just as good but is was not. I wouldn't even let my dog eat off the floors. Such a disappointment to this place we call...
