We stopped in and arrived at 830 p. They close at 9. I asked when we walked in if it was too late to come in for dine in and the ladies said it was ok. The order is placed at the counter and this was my 1st flag. We ordered 2 pizzas, a salad, and 1 soda. The salad came in a carryout container and we were given one plastic ware set for the both of us. We asked for some plates and another set of tools to eat. The salad seemed a bit watery, but was decent. The pizza came in 2 big boxes and we were called to the counter to pick up by then it was about 850ish. We asked for a couple more paper plates and additional plastics to eat. The pizza was decent too and I can say this is the first margherita pizza I've ordered where the tomatoes didn't over power the crust and make it soggy. After going up to the counter several times to ask for stuff we ate our one slice each and ended up just leaving with the rest of our food as staff started taking up the dining area and seemed ready to go. This place seems like more of a carry out operation with courtesy seating. It would probably be better to just offer take out only after 8:00 p. If a dine in experience is what you're looking for (we were) this is not the place. There's a ton of pizza restaurants that seem to provide an in-house vibe. Here l, they will, upon a few requests, provide paper plates and plastics but don't offer much more than a table to sit at. The box will not fit in any fridge by the way, so ask for extra plates or use the microwave cover and a Walmart bag at your Airbnb to store the rest of your pizza. I didn't have a chance to snap pics due to time...

SSP provides Top Quality, New England/York style savory and delicious pizza. "A VERY good thing!!!"
This is my favorite Pizza Parlor on the Gulf Coast, period. SSP offers the finest pizza I've ever had ... except for a Family Run Grinder/Pizza Parlor in Southwick, MA. It was late one night in early Spring of '73. I had been on the road in my '68 427 Vette over 7 hours. Pulling into town I parked into the first spot I could find near the Southwick Grinder and Pizza Parlor ("What's a Grinder?" I asked myself). But, this isn't a story that I share often 'cause I start to get sentimental ... so, back on topic.
Freshly baked, with perfect homemade crust, SSP's New York style pizza is topped with great fresh ingredients. Order off the menu or "build" youown. SSP has soda, Tap and bottled beer. It sares a large outside patio with Newby's Bar (the one at the Eastern-Most Dogleg of Thomas Drive).
"Wadda-ya-gotta- lose? Forged abowd it and git yaself one. Yar woith it!"
Insider Joke: Check the On-line Menu's Heading. To me, it it reads "Shore Shack Pizza Made With Saul". If you feel like having a little fun, ask to speak with Saul. (The menu was supposed to...
Read moreI'm from Dublin Ohio but I lived here for a few years and moved back to Ohio 2 and a half years ago and just so happen to love pizza. I was always very disappointed with the pizza selection down here because I could never find a non chain pizzeria that was worth going back or having anything good to say about, until now. Finally, a good slice with an excellent sauce, fresh high quality toppings, and a perfect outer crust. The inside was small and clean with a very friendly and likeable staff and as we sat outside, the patio atmosphere was suiting for the surroundings with lit palm trees and a nice breeze. My only complaint was the inner crust from the center to about 2 or 3 inches in was a little thin and flimsy but the flavor and all over experience of the pizza was well worth that minor fixable detail.. for all y'all staying at the other end of the beach, make the trip to check...
