Acai Express and Creamery — Restaurant in Florida

Place is clean but customer service is terrible. Came here the first time and spend over $40 which is actually extremely expensive for 2 bowls but I didn’t stress it, at least the bowls were full. My second time coming would be now and they basically gave me 1 scoop of mango. When I went inside to inquire about it they literally pulled out bowls and wanted me to deconstruct my bowl to somehow count how many scoops they gave. They even took it as far as putting 1 scoop into a bowl and saying “this is what 1 scoop looks like” THEN they took that scoop and put it back into the freezer, VERY unsanitary thing to do and really just rude. You can see in the photo that they barely gave me any mango. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here, for the money spent, service should be 100 times better and portions like this are unacceptable. I spent $26 today (due to me having a $5 discount) and I got shit. It’s mainly fruit and granola. Go to the other 2 açaí places in nearby or to planet smoothie at least you’ll receive a full bowl, and better more sanitary customer service. I really should be getting my money back for these bowls. Also please note that her first response to me was “the girl who made your bowls left already, I’m not the one that made them” … not sure what that had to do...

Very disappointed. One star is being generous. I visited for a bowl of Acai. I sat down to eat and it felt like I was literally eating and chewing on rocks. No taste of the creamery Acai I'm used to. I asked the cashier why the taste and texture, she explained it was the most pure pulp Acai and the texture was due to the coconut oil. (Never heard of it, but OK) She offered to exchange as she never asked me if it was my first time visiting to explain their types of Acai. She asked for me to dispose and to share what other Acai she can replace with. After a few minutes, she approached me and explained that I would have to pay another almost $14 dollars to replace. Naturally, I disagreed as she offered to replace. She noted that the Manager disapproved a replacement. I expressed to her that she offered to replace and that the original one was already dispossed. I could at least ate the fruit. Anyways, not returning to this disappointing place. Not sure if the business or the incompetent cashier owes me $14 bucks....

no acai in my acai bowl. Store associate told me dasher jostled it around and to leave a review, even after told her I have ordered and picked up these bowls before and there is very minimal acai in this bowl to be jostled.. sometimes i have noticed there are variances depending on staff but this one being the worst I called the store to mention it. I was also told I get less product using the flat lid bc they don't want to run out of their normal dome lids. Then I was told they use the bigger cups to compensate but how do you do that for the large? The girl seemed to stumble over her answers and just went in circles. She did admit they have gotten similar calls. Not sure if i rcvd the small or medium sized cup on this order since I normally get large but I will verify on my next different sized order. If they are indeed using the next size up for s or m then shouldn't my acai ratio be correct? -indeed was using the small cup, no issues this time picking up in person but...
