Stayed there 12/22-12/27 We DO NOT recommend wasting your money here There was 11 of us that stayed there. Master bedroom was so hot! I went out and bought a indoor room thermometer it was 75 degrees in there at 11pm and 7:30am. I called the first day and on Christmas Day I talked to Enus (very rude and talks over you) she refused to send someone out to fix the air. Was told that the air was controlled (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) degrees (NOTHING I agreed to had that was listed when booking) I’m in NC we don’t have it 72degrees unless it’s 15 out. Not to mention it was cooler outside than inside. In Orlando it was 67 outside and between (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) inside. I talked to Francis the service manager who said she put the thermostat on her end to 71. (Later told Airbnb they set it to 69 so they lied) They only wanted to reimburse $75 on a $ (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) stay. Airbnb helped get more of a refund but still had to pay a difference because rent a villa refused to give a full night refund. Even though on Christmas Day my husband had to go buy tools and fix a dryer hose that was blowing heat instead of them coming to fix it. HORRIBLE customer service! I pray Airbnb drops them. Oh I took pictures of the outside AC units one wasn’t working at all, but rent a villa said it was.(Again they lied) I can only recommend this house for space (it’s the same carpet that was laid in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) when the house was built) and if heat isn’t a factor especially when the master room is the hottest. They have fans they want you to use (we did) it still stayed 75 in master. Keep your money and go somewhere else, I’d rather stay at roachville then in that hot as hell house with people who do not care. I have pictures of the thermometer that I bought and pictures of the outside unit that isn’t working. If you would like to see them email me at (Email hidden by Airbnb) These people are NOT willing to...
Read moreWe just spent a wk with family (8) and the house was great. Each bedroom had its own bathroom/shower and were a nice size (lots of hangers too). Even had 1 large bedroom/bath on the first floor, which was great for my older mother. The kitchen and dining table was great, even had usable pans and utensils. Had a great movie theater room and game room.
The pool and hot tub were very important to us so we paid the extra fee to heat it. Luckily outside temps fell in the 70s most of the week so the pool felt nice. We did ask for late checkout on our last day, but didn't pay for pool heat that day and could tell the difference, plus weather that day was in the mid 60s. However, I'm a wuss to cold water temps so to a normal person, temp would have still been nice to them.
Anytime I communicated with the property mgmt team, either by VRBO app, email, phone or text. They always responded back right away. We even had an issue with the hockey table and they sent someone the next bus. day.
The only cons I have: No grill on-site. However they said they can drop one off for an additional fee.
Need a bigger patio table outside (only sits 4).
Pool was a little small, but that seems normal for FL residents.
Movie theater upstairs only sits 6, but we were able to use 2 gaming chairs from game room, which were comfy too.
There's a really cool community Aqua waterpark with water slides, etc. ran by Encore just a block down the road, that would have been really nice to have access too for the kids. Unfortunately we were unable to use it. However, this was communicated to us prior to our arrival so we were aware, but kids saw it and really wanted to go.
Tip if you are staying more than a few days: bring extra toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, salt and pepper, cooking spray, dish washer pods and laundry...
Read moreSerious data breach, ruined holiday, and shocking lack of accountability – avoid this company
Our holiday experience with this villa company was completely ruined due to a serious data breach and the way it was handled. My personal booking information ended up in the hands of scammers, exposing us to huge stress and worry when we should have been enjoying our time away.
What made matters worse was the company’s response. Instead of showing responsibility, empathy, or offering genuine support, they tried to shift the blame. Incredibly, the manager even suggested that previous guests might have hacked into their system — an implausible excuse that highlights their refusal to admit to their own security failings.
The impact on our holiday was enormous. We had to take time out of our trip to make official statements at the local sheriff’s office, wasting hours we should have spent relaxing and enjoying our holiday. We also had to request a new door key code for the villa to feel safe, yet this wasn’t even properly changed until the very last day of our stay. At no point did we feel reassured or protected by the company.
Instead of addressing the situation professionally, they remained dismissive, unsympathetic, and unaccountable. Their lack of transparency, failure to act quickly, and refusal to accept responsibility left us feeling completely abandoned.
This experience has destroyed any trust we had in this company. It is unacceptable in today’s world for customer data to be handled so carelessly, and even worse for a business to then try to deflect blame and avoid responsibility.
For your own peace of mind, I would strongly urge others to avoid booking with this company. They cannot be trusted to protect personal information, nor will they support you when their failures put your safety and...
