True Taste Fried Chicken & Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Four Corners

I’ve lived in the Davenport area for about 2 going on 3 years now and I’ve been dying for a boba place to open up around here it saves the 30-40min drives I would make to the Orlando area just to get some boba tea. The staff is always so kind and generous!! I have tried the coconut & cappuccino flavored milk tea with black boba pearls smoothie & tea version tastes just as good as it sounds and my boyfriend always orders the mango tea with popping boba pearls and he finishes it in minutes. I’ve been to many boba places and I will say true taste has great pricing for the size of their drinks. I’ve recentlunch tried their pudding mixed with boba pearls in my drink and it’s a great combination!! They allow you to mix the two together. Definitely give this place a try you won’t regret it. Sitting here as I type this. It’s boring in here lol. Lacks pizazz. No music, dead silent. It feels like the A/C is broken, it’s warm as h3ll. Not great hospitality, she seemed bland. Wish they had more selections for boba, I usually get the Oreo flavor but I settled for cappuccino. Tastes good, if you like coffee. She made it pretty fast but it’s cause it was empty and I was the only one there.

Some suggestions: get real chairs, not old dining chairs covered with sheets.

Have more space to sit and eat, especially if it is a group of individuals.

Get a stereo. Have some nice music in the background.

Have more welcoming staff.

Better decor.

Maybe provide small samples for chicken as an add on to boba. Would probably encourage higher sales.

I honestly thought they were friendly, the chicken was suppose to come with 4 pcs and generously gave us 6pcs, but the chicken itself tasted like it was over cooked at least the coating was. It was difficult to eat, and it just taste like the coating was burnt. The wait for awhile but I did like they made it fresh. The Boba tea was good but not many options. It was a good price but I don't think it was worth it in my opinion. I may give it another try. I ordered the salt n pepper chicken wings, then the crispy ones but honestly both tasted the same and both were extremely crispy well more like crunchy. It wasn't crispy when I think of crispy I think of flaky and not just a solid coating tasted like a rock and that's all we could taste. My child loves chicken but...
