When you think of the backbone of American Social Orlando, you may think of the beautiful waitresses who ensure you have everything your heart desires, or the exquisite bartenders, such as Momo, who make your visit the stuff of dreams while making you drinks equal to the elixir of the Gods. Or maybe even the manager who lead their teams with the skill and precision of a Revolutionary War general. But truly the unsung heroes of American Social are the ones who ensure that the night runs smoother than a freshly Zambonied ice rink, who keep the ship afloat in a sea of uncertain icebergs, the ones who tirelessly work around the clock to ensure that everyone who enters American Social are taken care of and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. These true heroes are the bar backs. And the one bar back who is incomparable above all others, the one who truly wears the title as an honor, and not just a job, is Jonah. Jonah truly makes the American Social experience come to life. In between his runs from the depths of the kitchen, to his bravery when handling delicate glassware with the precision of a trained and seasoned gaffer, Jonah never fails to pull you in with a smile that would make even the moon bow in its brilliance. Jonah takes the task of bar back and somehow manages to perform it with the skill, grace, and strength of the great Olympian, Hercules. He ensures that every ice tub never comes close to thawing, that every bartender has what they need to perform their duties to the highest degree. Jonah is always there with a quick joke and a smile that would make the most miserable of misers melt with joy. He takes time to talk to those who need a laugh, and listens when you need a friendly ear, and never makes you feel lonely. Jonah understands that the success of American Social is as good as its weakest link. And Jonah would never settle as the weakest link. His dedication to the success of his peers and himself is the driving force that makes Jonah truly memorable, and the lynchpin that keeps American Social the greatest establishment in...
Read moreLOVE LOVE LOVE this place! We ended up here by chance and I am so glad we did!
It was around 11pm when we arrived. The manager happened to pass the host stand and greeted/welcomed us. He was really nice and explained their concept to us: THE kitchen hours are the same as the restaurant hours - because everyone's always looking for late night food when drinking.
We were sat in an intimate booth by the kitchen (and were never really interrupted by any kitchen noises and whatnot). There was a live band or loud music playing in the opposite front corner of the restaurant which was interesting and created a nice fun vibe despite it being a little late and a long day after the parks for us. There weren't a lot of tables sat maybe about six or seven around that time of night. They have a great late night menu with a lot of specials in food and beverages. Our server also told us their menu changes regularly to offer new and fun items.
Our server was pretty good. He was very attentive and patient (we needed a lot of extra time to read through the many menu items). He seemed to be the closing server because when he wasn't available the rest of the staff was also so attentive and kind. We never felt rushed or like we were unwanted there despite it being close to the end of the night.
They have a delicious churro espresso martini right now that is AMAZING!!! We tried their Cheeseburger Taco and their BBQ Pork Belly Taco to start. The Cheeseburger Taco was a little less exciting than the BBQ Pork Belly Taco but both were good. We also ordered the Crispy Truffleshroom Burger with a side of the mac and cheese. It was SOOOO GOOD and had so many layers of flavor! The truffle flavor is only in the limited edition truffle Bousin (I bought a lot of this during the holidays) that they use so it's not overwhelming. I would definitely recommend it if you like mushrooms!
Overall, we'll be trying to make a stop here when we're in town and I would definitely...

05.15.2022: My first impression was this place is amazing until I asked one of the ladies at the front what this place was about since I never been. Before she could answer a much rude ladie interrupted. first it will be $15. Of course she is not an English major so it sounded like she said $50. My next response was I didn't ask how much, I asked what can your do here. She got an attitude with me. A famous DJ recommend this place. But I was not about to treated like I'm a disrespectful individual.
I walked away but then decided return to pay the $50 to go inside so I can buy water and a non alcoholic beverage. Turns out it was $15 entrance fee. I paid ,but the rude lady said from across adjacent position. "I hope you have funnn... sarcastically". Now I get to talk about my experience at this location. With my top 5% Google reviews profile and over 10M views in Orlando and I WILL be following up. Believe me, I will. maybe I'll send a proxy.
Treat people with respect please. I was not upset but, i was so disappointed I didn't even bother to retrieve my credit card. Keep it. I never authorized anything other than the $15. Trust me. Money is not an issue for me.
And for the owners who I spoke to . I have an MBA, I was also a leadership development coach and I was a consultant and taught executive teams how to build a winning team. I also own two businesses so don't tell me how to coach.
I was just being nice, from one business man to another. Don't you ever threaten me every again. Also your bodyguard/bouncer was a sitting duck.
I got all the videos and pictures needed to give an accurate review.
Ps. I am a Former MMA practionar. I should have said yes that I recorded you. Oh yes I did record you after you thought I left. And yes, like I told the rude girl, I will have lots of fun. The fun is only...
