On Sunday September 4 at approximately 3:30pm myself and 7 other family members were denied service just moments after entering the Bahamas Breeze location on Osceola Parkway. The manager stated that someone in our party mentioned that "we had been drinking all day" and because of this statement the manager decided we may become problematic and it was best to just deny us service. As you can imagine how insulted and ashamed my family and I felt not having done anything. A snap judgment was made about us without actually doing anything. We literally sat outside at the bar area located on the Patio. No other customers were around us at the bar, and we were not close to any other patrons either. Shortly after meeting our bartender we were asked to leave. No one in our party was intoxicated. No one in our party was causing a disturbance or nuisance. No one was rude or disrespectful to the staff. The manager just assumed we maybe become problematic, which is very short sighted and unprofessional. One of the core skills of being a manager is problem-solving and outside of the box thinking to run your restaurant efficiently and profitable. On this day your manager failed to do both. We received an absolutely horrible customer experience, and as I'm sure you are aware in our free enterprise market, a customer experience is what will get you that competitive edge. This manager failed to provide that customer experience, and has now lead to a sullied decade of memories me and family have had at your establishment. You have now lost 8 customers and in the big picture that may not seem significant. But, we will be sure to share our poor experience on every social media platform and every review site we can. We are not doing this to be spiteful to your establishment. But, if we are able to save just one other customer, or one other family from the utter disrespect and shameful service we received, then this letter would have been worth it.
Sincerely,
A...
Read moreToday we had our twin daughter and sons graduation party at the Bahama Breeze by the Loop and we had such an amazing time I just had to share with the rest of the community. We had a reservation for 23 people and as soon as we arrived our tables were already set up and ready for us and our server Shannon greeted us immediately and was so positive and friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. She was taking care of my direct family since we were in two groups and my relatives said there server did fantastic as well. Shannon recommended this ultimate pina colada in a pineapple and we all had to try them even the nonalcoholic ones were delicious. My mother had the virgin Bahama Rita and that drink was awesome too. She then told us to get the beef empanadas and yet again they were mouth watering good. We got a couple different appetizers and they all came out hot fresh and fast! We were starving so that make us HAPPY! My wife and I had the Paella that she also recommended and it was also so so good, the flavor was great and had such fresh seafood. It was a huge portion so if getting appetizers you could share with two people and be full! We ended our meal with 4 of the key lime pies and didn’t leave a bite on the plate. We all went back to my house after and we talked about how great of a time we had all night. This night was just magnificent and being able to celebrate my twins graduation with all my family is a memory I will treasure my whole life. Thank you Shannon and Bahama Breeze! 5+...
Read moreI was really excited to eat here on Sunday 9/12 because I’ve dined at other locations and it was wonderful! However, right away the experience was subpar. My party and I ( a total of 6) were seated and ignored. No waiter or waitress came to address us for about 20 minutes. There was plenty staff available and the restaurant was not very busy at all. I have no clue how or why we were overlooked. I even turned on the call waiter function on the table tablet, still no service. I ended up waving someone down as the staff continued to walk past our table. After being ignored by at least 3 people, one finally addressed us. He agreed to get our drinks and said he would find someone to serve us. Apparently no one wanted to because he was working in a different area, but he agreed to serve our table. I tipped him well for going above and beyond to make sure we had a great customer service experience from that point on. Now, as for the food…It was not fresh at all. My paella, my husband’s pasta, and my friend’s pasta all tasted as if it was cooked hours before and reheated in a microwave. All three dishes were dry. The kids meals were fresh and fine, but the adult dishes were disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be returning to this location, rather next time I want Bahama Breeze, I’ll drive the extra miles to Four Corners...
