While I do owe this place a good review for the number of years I have been going there, and the fantastic experiences I have had in rhe past getting to know their employees. That is not this post. Recently they are in the process of onboarding a new teammember and given her attitude and demeanor, I may not be going back.
A little context, this is at least her first full week, as I went the previous Saturday and today (saturday) and there was no change in behavior. She touches everything with he same pair of gloves from her face to her clothes, from the equipment to your food.. . She also has a major attitude when communicating with people there. Given that it is the second time. To me this is a trend and a poor one at that. Additionally she doesn't pay attention when you tell her which condiments/ herbs and spices to add on....
I hope they rectify this situation one way or other cause this pleace beats out so many of their major competitors. It just is a shame given how many years I have been going there without an issue. Hope this helps someone

   Read moreUnfortunately I see Best Sub Shop going down the wrong path. I ordered a double steak and cheese NO ONIONS for my next three lunches. The next day I opened it up and there were a million onions (can't eat em). I went back the next day and not only did they not have steak, or bacon (I was going to get a bacon cheeseburger sub), but they also told me they had no wraps... but then took out a wrap for another customer. They made me pay for a new sub (even though it was the same woman on the grill who made my sub a day before), then they did not have change. It was chaotic and not what I'm used to and yesterday they just should have made it right. I love this place but I wasn't treated right- my family and I have been coming forever. Hope this isn't the trend!.... got home. They gave me the wrong sub!!!!!! I went back (3rd visit for the same meal) and she just gave me the sub they had made 2 hours ago, dripping in oil... not sure what happened to this place.    Read moreFirst time here... I was greeted immediately and The staff is very polite. Itâs a nice clean hole in the wall joint. No room for indoor seating. I ordered the steak and onion. The Sub was just okayâŚdidnât have much flavor and the type of steak used is I guess previously cooked and chopped in strips, Itâs not what Iâm used to and didnât make the experience of eating a sub enjoyable for me. Owners I would suggest looking into some other options for your steak. I saw the Cheeseburger sub ordered a few times , so maybe itâs the popular choice. The paper towels option is a no for me. I like snatching my napkins from a broken napkin dispenser. I wouldnât strongly recommend this sub shop, you can get better elsewhere but give it a try you may like what they have...
