This store has an incredible selection of clothing for the tall or big man. As others have mentioned, customer service is unparalleled. Bruce knows me by first name (only met me twice) and is eager to help. I never considered myself great at coordinating fashions, so I tell him what I need or what function I'm attending, and he takes me through the store showing me examples of pants and shirts that go together, blazers that can be worn with a host of clothes, and all the accessories to finish off a polished look. He is spot on, because I get more compliments when I wear the combinations that he suggested. DXL also has a website where you can shop for incredible deals on closeout items. You can choose to ship to store or home AND if for some reason it doesn't fit or you don't like what you ordered, it can be returned for refund or exchange at the brick and mortar store. I have been to DXL a few times now. This was by far my worst experience here. The sales associate was the only employee on site. He was flustered and clearly overwhelmed by the rush of customers.

While I was in line to pay, he told a gentleman that he “could not leave a mess in the fitting room” the customer replied by advising that he wasn’t done with the fitting room and had asked for pants in another size. Due to the fact he was unable to assist the customer got his own pants. The sales associate proceeded with “you still can’t leave jeans wherever you want”

I found that interaction to be below what a customer should expect at your store.

I also felt like I was treated as if I didn’t belong based on my casual attire. I noticed two other gentlemen who were dressed up got much more attention.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. If you have trouble finding sizes for those that are tall or big you'll find it here. Gary the manager was very welcoming right when we came in and extremely helpful. He assisted with sizing and measuring and picking out different items to go together. He set up a room with things to try as well. The only down side is the cost. Don't go here to expect to get out cheap, comfort and availability comes at a price. But we happily paid it today because it's the first time in a long while my husband had a good time shopping for clothes for himself.
