Blue Amphora — Restaurant in Florida

This is a true gem that is relatively new to east Orlando. I had ordered the Blue Amphora panini, drink and dessert combo with mixed walnut and pistachio baklava online, and it was amazing! The panini itself was so flavorful and delicious, more elevated than a typical panini I’ve had in a long time and the combo comes with four pieces of baklava (with are incredible and perfectly and authentically soaked in a lovely sugary syrup). I also ordered a spanakopita which is probably the best one I’ve had in Orlando and reminded me of the one my grandma used to make. When I got there to pick up my order everyone was so sweet and you can tell this was a family operated business and everything was made with love and kindness. I saw a variety of other beautiful desserts and purchased more on top of my order which included a cold baklava wish I hadn’t tried before, their Dubai chocolate baklava which was incredible and embodies the Dubai chocolate in flavor and texture with so much pistachio crème❤️ and the Pistachio ricotta cake. Each item was like nothing I have ever had before and if you’re going to indulge in anything sweet this is definitely what I am going for in the future. And they also have amazing looking knafeh and Turkish coffee which I look forward to trying next time. Everything I tried was definitely deserving...

Unfortunately we did not have the experience I was hoping for....especially after seeing all the wonderful reviews. Owner from the minute we walked in shop didn't seem pleased with our group of ladies. About 8 of us and we were excited to try their delicious looking sweets. Unfortunately they needed to close early which we were informed, but only left us with short time, but owner made it clear we couldn't put in order until she finished serving everyone else. We had 20 minutes left and we asked her if possible to just put kunafa in to heat while she serves, but she was smug with us and said again when she's finished helping all others, but webt on to remind us that we had to leave by 7pm. So my friend said ok but you don't want to take out order and you want us leave so what do we do in this case you don't have any help? She went on to tell our dear friend "you are being rude and YOU HAVE issues in front of all other guests🤦🏻‍♀️. That was the cut off for my friend and OFCOURSE for us All!
