Casey's Sports Bar at Heathrow — Restaurant in Florida

Casey’s had once been our favorite go-to spot to hang with friends and get some drinks while playing pool. The overall atmosphere is good with 4 pool tables and plenty of TVs. Unfortunately too often 1 of the 4 tables would be broken. For the most part the bartenders are attentive but I had start to wonder if I was being charged the right number of drinks. With that aside, the two most recent experiences has been the cause for this review. Leaving one night I was asked by a bartender why we (as regulars) don’t tip the bartenders more. Someone who regularly tips 20% or more, I found this very offensive and rude. The bigger issue which is now a reason why we I’ll probably never return is because while my wife and her friend were in the restroom, a man walked in expecting to use the bathroom. I understand society right now is divided in this issue but when we brought the concern, that the man who is much larger than my wife, to the staff, I purposely followed the waiter to listen to the conversation being had with this man (without the waiter knowing). I overheard, “we are going to pretend I yelled at you about this but for now stay out of the woman’s bathroom”. When the conversation concluded, the waiter walked out from where the conversation was being had and I confronted him about his comment. With a frozen face, he could not give a response. Horrible place!! It was an all WHITE staff.The two blondes refuse to serve a couple that were of color. They had to wait until a manger was there for him noticed. After they complained that they were being CLEARLY IGNORED. Even then the bartenders were hesitant to serve them. They didn’t do anything wrong but sit patiently. The two blonde bartenders were rude and one of them was yelling at people telling them to leave as some of the guest were trying and RUSH to finish their last pool game as who we think was the “Manager” told them to finish their last game. One of the blonde bartenders took it upon her self to yell at the guest to “HURRY UP WERE CLOSED, WAITING ON YOU TO LEAVE ALREADY, I WANT TO GO HOME, LEAVE!!!”. Management some chubby WHITE guy let the bartenders not only DISRESPECT the guest but also had a shot with the two bartenders as they proceeded to kick people out and he allowed these said bartenders to curse and yell at the guest to hurry up and leave. When a guest stood up to them and said how terrible they were being treated the “Manger” continued to excuse the bad behavior from the bartenders to the guest and only offer the guest a “Shot” but said that they should “Expect” that “Next Time they decided to come in 15 min before closing”. First time going: SCRATCH THROUGH YOUR CHECK TOTALS!! I'm pretty sure the bartender wrote over my tip, turned the $3 into an $8. Tried calling about 4-5 times but got nothing. Just got back from the bank, should'nt have to do that.....

Great atmosphere, tons of fun hanging with friends. Pool tables, small arcade in the back.

Bar could use some work; they botched the old fashioned (poured it in a shaker, muddled, no stir, never gotten one so cloudy), put her bare hands on the ice and in the shaker, gross; so I sent it back and just got something simple. But hey Old Fashioneds aren't the only drink in the world, at least they were nice about it. Twisted Teas in a bottle were pretty cool to see, never seen those served before.
