Charley's Pub — Restaurant in Florida

The owner of this establishment is a very rude individual. Today my family went out to eat at a restaurant a few shops down from this bar & there was no parking. We finally found someone who was leaving and waited for them to leave so we could take their spot. We had been waiting for over 10 minutes for a parking spot & when the car finally left and we were about to pull in we saw a Red truck coming towards as if if they were going to park. We drove forward and so did the red car until they came to us and started yelling that they were a business owner and they needed that parking spot (It was NOT an assigned spot) . This man had seen us waiting for this spot and noticed my father didn’t speak english and took advantage of that to argue with him and try to get in front to take the spot. He almost hit our car twice & scared my grandma. He did not back off until I started yelling at him to back off and that we had been waiting for this spot. He thought it was only spanish speakers in the car but when he was met with the same energy he backed off and gave us dirty looks for not submitting to him and giving him our spot. You are a very entitled man & you do not own this parking lot. I wish i took a picture of the truck because it had the license plate showing the bar name but just know the owner of this establishment doesn’t care about others ( What if we were potential costumers?) & will fight you over a parking spot. My son and I went here for the first time last Friday night. We were very pleasantly surprised! It was soooooooooooooo clean, and the bartender, and all of the patrons were very friendly. We felt very comfortable and welcomed with open arms. The prices were very reasonable. We sang karaoke as well, the KJ was very nice, and the sound system was very good as well. Charley’s is my go to spot other then breeze on a Friday night! I like it because I’m 38 and it’s an older crowd. Every time I go there’s never been any incidents.
