First time at a Chili's in years... the hostess was less than friendly (I hate to say rude) when I walked in. I took a bar table (would have sat at the bar but it was full... at noon), and it took the bartender about 10 minutes to finally come over and see if I wanted anything (why else would I be sitting there? to stare at the TV directly in front of me that was off?).
Food came out reasonable quickly and was at least hot. That's the most positive thing I can say about the food. Otherwise it was tasteless, bland, somewhat undercooked and generally unappealing and down right bad.
Finish the meal, and sat waiting for another 10 minutes or so for him to come back over (apparently the regulars at the bar were his most important thing to deal with... and I understand that regulars are going to get better service, but how would you expect me to ever become a regular if I get completely ignored?).
To top it all off, I had to check myself out using some thingy sitting on the table. Of course, no one tells you this before hand, when they bring the food out, etc. And it takes multiple screens to finally get to the check out point. There is also no way to get a paper copy of the receipt without the server, and since he was back behind the bar with his regulars... well, I wasn't going to enter my e-mail address to start getting junk e-mail from Chilis just to get a copy of the receipt.
All of the above reminds me why I avoid as much as possible anything remotely...
Read moreDon't waste your hard earned money in this nasty place! Disgustingly filthy restuarant. Our party of 3 almost lost our table to people who walked in 15 mins after us because the hostess doesn't know how to call out "name, party of whatever", but instead just calls out "party of #?" and anyone can claim it. The dining hall was so, so gross. From ceiling to floor. Our party of 3 personally watched in absolute disgust and horror the hostess, who also serves as a busser, "clean" 4 tables with a single dry napkin. No disinfectant or anything. One napkin wiping all 4 tables and throwing all the garbage on the bench seats and floor. Our fault for not walking out the door right then and there. Food came and it tasted awful. Lukewarm, frozen then microwaved flavor at best. My husband beers came in 2 hot mugs. My margerita was served in beer glasses. Our salsa came in a cheap to go cup. When we complained nicely to our waiter who was ok, he just told us that they try to hire older people there, but he'll tell the manager. Didn't go get the manager. Don't think the manager honestly even cares based on all we experienced. I'm surprised this place is still up and running...it needs to be shut down or fire everyone and hire new management and clean the hell out of the place before reopening. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had, and I've had a couple bad ones. Will NEVER go back. Sick to my stomach over the whole experience and complete waste of my hard...
Read moreDINE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! First time at this location and definitely the worst Chilis experience ever. Brand new server on first night helping us out by himself was actually the best part. Person training him hated life and so did management as was evidenced by their lack of attention. Nobody knew what was going on or even seemed to care even though we were seated at the last table before entering the kitchen and they were walking by or standing within feet of our table the entire night. It was like we weren't even there. We could overhear the table adjacent to ours speaking with management about how their steak was a sirloin rather than a ribeye like they had ordered and trainer server girl argued with us about what we ordered when they brought out the wrong margaritas. Not sure they even know they're selling food AND service here. Food was overall subpar, fajita steak was incredibly over salted, and the service was more or less non-existant. IF we EVER feel like Chilis again it will most definitely be at ANY other location than this one. Very sorry our server was so poorly trained.... he felt very bad but was more or less helpless due to a lack of knowledge and supervision. It all boils down to...
