As someone that loves Chipotle. I’ve given up on this location completely. This location is located in Celebration,Fl in the middle of a very busy tourist area. I refuse to step foot In this place. I’ve had MULTIPLE issues with this location. Since I work in the area on the weekends I find myself coming to this location. Yet the first issue I encountered was that I placed an order at 7pm so I can pick it up at 9:45pm before the location closes. Yet when I arrived at 9:40pm my food was absolutely wasn’t ready…Like geez I didn’t order 10 minutes ago, that was ridiculous. When I asked the staff where’s my food that said it wasn’t prepared yet, that they prepare it 10 minutes before pick up. How could they prepare it 10 minutes before when they only have 1 PERSON working the line on a WEEKEND. Plus they have a line of people, due to the fact I couldn’t wait because I had to get back to work. I had no choice but to cancel my order. The best part is yet to come once I cancel my order I have to wait for my money to be refunded…Yayy that’s sooo much FUN, waiting for the money after they charged your card. They didn’t bother to apologize for the inconvenience or even make it right. For being a very busy area on weekends HOW DO YOU HAVE 1 PERSON WORKING THE LINE, THAT EVERYONE HAS TO ORDER FROM. This location is either understaffed or has horrible management that doesn’t know how to schedule correctly. Then today, it’s a FRIDAY, I walked in at around 5:46pm, once again there was only 1 person working the line. Of course the line was growing. Yet they had 1 person on the line, 1 cashier, 2 people on the side that were probably prepping mobile orders. One of those 2 people, could’ve been helping on the line serving people. Then they had like between 3-5 random people standing behind the line doing random things. This location is very disorganized. They had a customer ordering excessive food on one dish holding up the line. This guest had cut the line, in front of everyone else that was waiting because his family had already been on the line and was done ordering. Therefore this location also allows people cut lines, not caring about those that have been on the line waiting for God knows how long. Read moreFor lunch today I stopped in at this location I have been here several times not to many issues with my food there was a customer sending back his rice one day because it wasn’t cooked so we all awaited on fresh rice but today I arrive around 1:30pm and I notice no fresh food being prepped at all on the grill like they normally do to rotate the fresh chicken nothing was being prepped at all so I order a chicken bowl for dine in ice machine was out so I had to have a meal with no drink I didn’t want any of the other drinks from the cooler as I walk around to find a place to sit all of the tables are dirty I went to the cashier to ask could someone clean the tables off I told her I was going to sit at the high top table she only cleaned that area and left all the other tables dirty with food on them I sat and started to eat my food a few bites in I realized I wasn’t enjoying my food so I went to ask for a manager to make them aware a young guy asked me the issue I told him my chicken wasn’t hot and I had big lump balls of rice which I had put in a napkin to show him he went to the back and told the manager that I wanted a refund which I didn’t ask for a refund I just wanted fresh hot food which again nothing was on the grill or being prepped the line was starting to pile up so I young lady comes from the Back and she tells me that they can’t offer me a refund because I had ate half of the food I told her I never asked for a refund and I removed my lid to show her that I didn’t eat half of the food because i didn’t like it so another young lady chimes in and asked what was the issue with my bowl she began to tell her and they are both telling me well even if they remake it it’s the same food coming from the same line and that the food is fresh they just opened chipotle doesn’t open at 1:30 and at that hour of the day almost all chipotle locations have fresh meat in rotation coming off the grill and they did not I told her they were being defensive and combative about my experience with my food they told me they aren’t being combative and defensive the young lady eventually makes my bowl fresh from the line I guess for online orders when she gave me my bowl the chicken actually was hotter and tasted better but I will not be returning to this location due to the cleanliness and the unnecessary back and forth between the staff about my experience it was unprofessional clean...
Read moreI recently visited Chipotle Mexican Grill on July 18th, and I must say it was a truly disappointing experience. I arrived at the restaurant around 5 pm and ordered a burrito to dine in. The burrito itself was prepared with care and seemed promising. However, what followed left me shocked and appalled.
Upon receiving my order, I noticed there were no plastic knives available at the self-service area. I approached the cashier politely and inquired if she had any plastic knives. To my surprise, the cashier replied with a simple "no." Wanting to enjoy my meal comfortably, I decided to ask if she could kindly cut my burrito in half.
What transpired next was completely unexpected and unacceptable. The cashier, instead of handling the situation professionally, took my burrito in her right hand and began chatting with her colleagues while intentionally shaking my food. The burrito ended up spilling all over the tray, leaving me dumbfounded. Another customer who was present during this incident shared my confusion and disbelief at the cashier's inappropriate behavior.
Thankfully, another employee stepped in and listened to my explanation of the situation. They promptly prepared another burrito for me, but by that point, the damage was done. The entire experience had left me so shaken that I completely lost my appetite. Regrettably, the food I had eagerly anticipated ended up in the garbage.
As a customer, I value respectful and considerate service, and unfortunately, this Chipotle location fell far short of meeting those expectations. Such unprofessional conduct and lack of basic customer service skills should never be tolerated.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior in an establishment that prides itself on providing quality food and service. I sincerely hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues at hand, ensuring that future customers do not have to endure a similar ordeal.
