Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

I'm posting this after I tried contacting corporate because I'm truly that disgusted by everything that happened. If I could give it 0 stars I would because just thinking of it makes me want to be violently ill.

When my fiancee and I arrived and went to pay we were charged the full buffet price not the $4.99 deal going on; yet we proceed to pay and went to get our table before getting our food. Seeing upon how over half the dinner room was closed we choose to sit at a table by and employee on her lunch break. And the two managers discussing how they are overcharging the customers on purpose to 'actually make a profit so they can pay their employees and corporate can stop getting mad at how much it cost to actually run the business and keep everything clean and working withing the margins'. My fiancee then went to go get his food at the limited buffet that they had available and while he was gone the female manager kept walking up to my table to stand over me then walk back over to the other male manager; she did this repeatedly until my fiancee came back with his food and i went to go get mine. When the two managers finally walked away I tried to tell the employee on her lunch break she was pretty but she waved me off saying she didn't speak English. I then noticed that she still had on her pair blue single use gloves. My fiancee and I started to get a bad feeling but stayed and hoped it would get better. But after watching the female employee finish her lunch then walk into the bathroom with the gloves still on then walk out of the bathroom with the gloves still on only to walk to the serving line and start cutting and distributing pizza to the buffet line. Our stomachs dropped and we couldn't believe what we had actually seen; repulsed we immediately grabbed our things and left. We wish this whole encounter could have been avoided. We were overcharged for food that we didn't even end up eating much of and I'm worried about how that food was handled and about all the people who didn't notice the major health code violation and stayed to eat...

If I could give this place a negative 100 stars I would do it! Worst place I have ever ate At in my life! The food was so gross and dry. They were out of everything. Including forks. they were all dirty so they gave us plastic forks to use! There were barely any choices. But the main reason for this review is I took my 3 yr old to the potty and when entering I did see that they were cleaning but the bathroom was not blocked off. After I got my daughter In the stall she started to cough. Then it hit me. The chemical smell was so strong to the point I couldn’t catch my breathe. My daughter was coughing to the point of almost vomiting as was I. Then I hurried my daughter and we walked out of the bathroom. When exiting I noticed a small girl was entering and I didn’t want her to inhale those fumes so I found the manager and let her know the chemicals the lady in the bath room was using to clean were extremely harsh. So she went in the bathroom and she exited with a spray bottle filled with something. She came to our table and told us she took the chemicals from the girl that she was new and was using the wrong DETERGENT? okay I have been cleaning for a long time and I have never lost my breathe over dish detergent ? My biggest question is she is telling me that the smell of her cleaning a toilet with dish detergent is making me lose my breathe? So you use that to clean the dishes?? I doubt that. That smelled like different chemicals mixed together. I mentioned to the manager that it smelled maybe like bleach mixed with something and her response. No honey we don’t use bleach. She continued to defend the fact that it was simply the wrong detergent. The manager also made the statement well there was a sign saying they were cleaning.? I didn’t see a sign anywhere. I knew they were cleaning because i saw the cleaning lady. I’m furious I have no idea what my daughter and I inhaled! The staff, food, cleanliness of this establishment was terrible. I’ll never return and I suggest if you are going to go to cicis pizza don’t let it...

Impressions on my first ever visit. 1st. Staff was friendly and helpful. All smiles and very polite. Very impressed with the staff, way better than at most fast-food places. 2nd. Restaurant decor is so bland and boring and not inviting. Definitely drab and dull. HOWEVER! The place was clean, and the table didn't wobble. Chairs and table were clean, the restaurant smelled of pizza, pizza, and more pizza. If you are looking for fancy, go somewhere else, if you have a one-track mind and it's set on Pizza, you found your spot. 3rd. Some of the Pizza was really good (good flavors, looked good, cooked perfect). Some of the Pizza was not so good (looked weird, undercooked, tasted bland). Choose your pizza slices carefully. I had no trouble filling up on the great slices of pizza. This is not the best pizza I ever had, but I had no trouble eating enjoyable pizza till I was stuffed. 4th. My only complaint was that some guests just have no buffet food etiquette. You can make frequent trips to the buffet. Please use a clean plate with each visit. You do not need to pile a foot high of food on one plate. Do not eat at the buffet, this includes staff too. While you are serving yourself, remember that others will be serving themselves after you so don't make a mess. 5th. Sit near the window if you don't have kids, sit closer to the games if you do have kids. This is a very kid friendly place but if you prefer a quieter environment just sit closer to the windows. The kids and games were not extremely loud, but there were a couple of parents that were obnoxiously loud screaming at their kids. OVERALL: Great Staff and Clean. Decent, fast pizza to fill the...
