So I went through the drive thru with my mom today and got 2 ice cream cones. The 2nd cone handed to me fell in to my car and all over my shoe. I don’t blame the girl, she was apologetic, but she was tiny, barely seeing over the window, we fumbled the cone together. I advised to her I was gonna pull around and clean out my car and my shoe. I went directly into the bathroom, washed off my shoe the best I could, then went to the counter. I advised what happened to another younger lady at the counter, interaction was normal, and a bigger guy handed me a new cone soon after.
The problem is, when the bigger guy handed me the cone he did not say a word and looked annoyed, that became further apparent when I decided to tell him “thanks for the cone but mann these are expensive shoes, I’m bummed” .. his reaction was to roll his eyes.. I got thrown back by that and asked if there was a manager and he said he was the manager. I did an under my breath in disbelief laugh and asked him his name and he ignored, completely refused to give it to me, just walked away throwing his hand up in disregard. I asked him “you don’t see how unprofessional you’re being?” He then said he was calling the police.. I told him I will wait outside for them. To not cause any other “disturbances” from me. Once the police arrived, they wrote me a trespass warning with no chance of telling my side of the story. Just plainly treated like a criminal. I have contacted Culver’s corporate and the police office to further express this issue in more detail. I just can’t believe the way I was treated through this whole ordeal. I understand the police side that Culver’s is their business and they can do as they see fit. I understand I don’t have a say when it came to talking to the police about my side of the story. But how Culver’s management decided to escalate a situation like this is absolutely insane to me. I have never been treated with such disrespect and banished so quickly for something I feel that could have been easily resolved with common curtesy. I just want to express my side of the story, so future customers can be aware how quickly a repercussion can happen to you after expressing your unpleasant experience with their business in a professional manner with management.
*update I talked to the police, in short Culver’s management can make the decision to ban whomever they want for whatever reason. Fair enough, but I don’t feel that this interaction should have never went this far.. I got ice cream spilled on me and made notice of it to the manager, got a snarky response from him.. I talked to Culver’s Corporate, told them the entire interaction and they advised they would have the store reach out to me. I have not heard from the store or anything. I’m still banned and I guess that’s it. It’s crazy, I don’t get tickets for driving, have a clean record. Got a “trespassing” ticket though due to going to Culver’s with my mom to get icecream.. it’s all...
Read moreThe ice cream is good and the staff is friendly. It ends there. Be prepared for a long wait depending on time. Rating consistency or efficiency, with 10 being the best, I'd give it a 2. I've been when there's 30 (literally) employees and I've been when there's visibly maybe 6. First time getting concrete mixers, mine was fine, mothers was liquid. This happened other occasions. Sometimes you'll get a lot of brownies, sometimes you get less. The employees just need better training or they just don't care. I went inside once and set my number and cups down on the table I wanted to eat at, went to get a napkin and came back to see an employee walking away with my number. It was 10 seconds. Once I asked for a flat lid instead of this ridiculous new huge open lid design garbage, they said no problem at the ordering menu and then brought out one with a big lid. Once I asked for no spoon. Same thing. Said no problem at the menu and then hands me an ice cream with a spoon in it. If you ask them to blend the brownies in so they're all not sitting on top (which they should already do since it's called a MIXER) they say ok at the menu and hand you a cup with all brownies on top at the window lol. Without fail. Every time. This time the girl kept closing the window too fast so I couldn't give her my change or ask that a spoon not be put in it. When I tried to give her the change she said she already "pressed the button". Sweet kid. This is not the end of the world. It's just ice cream. It's also not something I want to deal with every time I want some above average price ice cream. It's not exactly cheap. Tonight I got a spoonful of something that tasted noticeably bad and a minute later my stomach started hurting and I still have a stomach ache. I don't know if it was a hit of rancid marshmallow cream or machine oil or what but I wouldn't want to experience it again. I've been about a dozen times but I don't think I'm going to go back for a while. Again, very nice owner and people and I wish them the best of luck, but they still don't have...
Read moreI love the burgers here but the customer service is seriously lacking and the manger is extremely rude. Over my past 5 orders they have forgotten toppings, sides, and condiments. I’m a celiac and can’t eat gluten and this is one of the rare places who offer gluten free buns at an extra price. It’s already crappy I have to already pay more for a allergy but on top of that they never give me ketchup, or mayonnaise even when I ask multiple times to please put it in the bag. since my gluten free bun comes in a plastic wrapping they don’t put the condiments on the burger even tho I’ve asked them too they said they can put it in the bag and then never do! I’ve gotten a couple deluxe burgers missing onions, missing lettuce, missing ordered and paid for bacon on the burger. I’ve gone back through the drive thru because let’s be honest no one wants to eat a dry burger. Tonight I went through the drive thru after driving 20 minutes to get it and asked the girl three times for ketchup and even asked her if she put some in my bag and paid extra for two ranches and then I get home to no ketchup no mayonnaise and a burger with no lettuce or onion. I called the manager and was very respectful and said hi I was just there 25 minutes ago and ordered food, I ordered a deluxe gluten free burger and they gave me no ketchup or the ranch I paid for and my burger was missing lettuce and onion. And if I could come back tomorrow and get a remake cause this is like the 6th time it’s happened. He then told me I could come back right now when they close in 25 minutes and I’m 20 minutes away. He said he didn’t care there was no one above him to talk to and hung up on me. He was very rude, very disrespectful and I’m sick of them forgetting my items. Sucks cause food is good. Management is horrible and it seems like there’s multiple people having this issue. I work across the parking lot from them and eat there on my lunch sucks they’re gonna lose a almost daily customer over remaking a single...
