I always love picking up the ingredients I need at Diane's! I always head first to the produce section. So many good nutritious whole foods available. I even picked up Broccoli Sprouts this time! I came in specifically for magnesium. I like to wander to the back left corner of the store where clearance items are kept. Sure enough, I found Magnesium + Calcium daily tablets at an almost $10 discount from its original shelf price. I'll take it! Even found biotin supplements at a discount too. There are all kinds of goodies in that corner marked down from their original price. Some visits what I discover in that clearance corner might be a hit-or-miss, but this time I found exactly what I was seeking at a great deal in my preferred health food store. The prices are high compared to regular grocery stores--but understandably so. It is because the natural, organic, clean or vegan products and ingredients found in this store are worth the money. I prefer to treat my body and my family with only the best foods as often as I can. I wish I could go on a shopping spree here! Instead I just supplement my recipes with organic replacements if at all possible, and we can find here almost everything with need for juicing daily. Thanks for existing, Diane's. You're just a hop, skip and a jump away here in St. Augustine. Cheers to good health!

**Managers should be educated on communicating policy so that their customers have an explanation, instead of behaving in a way thats dismissive and confusing. The front counter even said i should have no problem returning the item before the manager came up and refused a refund or replacement.** Great selection of items, but as previous reviewers have said, they give you a hard time returning spoiled items. I had purchased an expensive refrigerated probiotic and upon opening the package the white seal was broken/sticky with brown spots. I returned with pictures of the seal and my receipt, but the manager wanted the bottle too. I will find and bring back the compromised bottle…but certainly annoying that i have to find time to make two trips to return an expensive, spoiled product that thankfully wasnt already buried in the trash.

Love the selection of healthy foods, vitamin & mineral supplements, bulk foods & coffee beans. Staff is super helpful & Senior discount can apply, if you ask (they don't want to embarrass by asking, jic you haven't yet reached that Silver age)! The parking lot is shared btwn multiple businesses, yet finding a space outfront is usually fairly easy, bc Diane's has designated parking spots. Totally love that Diane's carries Nutritional Yeast, sprout-your-own kits, crystalized Ginger & Pineapple, organic Chocolate-covered Toffee Almonds & 🍒s!

I had to leave a review after once again having an amazing visit to this store. I have been shopping here for over a year now, and Diane's Natural Market has consistently delivered in every category that is important to me for my family's needs. This includes a positive and upbeat, even fresh atmosphere! The store is incredibly clean and products that are grouped by brand are ALPHABETIZED! What a novel concept! Spices, supplements, essential oils, all alphabetized, so you can get to what you need quickly. The produce section features a generous variety, is fresh and well stocked and all organic, and who doesn't enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables not repeatedly soaked with herbicides and pesticides? There are even some items that I have not had before such as broccoli sprouts, sunflower sprouts and even carrot sprouts. These items can really add a nice degree of variety to otherwise routine salads while adding vital, bioavailable vitamin and mineral enrichment. If you want a fresh and delicious made to order gluten-free sandwich, or cup of rich satisfying soup, see Maria in the Cafe and you will be welcomed with her genuine smile and their food-deliciousness! (I have to eat gluten and dairy free so my options for picking up a quick bite while out are limited.) Bulk and packaged organic coffees, and other crave-worthy snacks are plenteous here. If you have thought about Diane's for their clean, healthy foods, you owe it to yourself to at least check out the vitamin, herbs and supplements section. While shopping I began talking with a man working in an aisle who turned out to be the owner. While discussing a particular supplement he informed me that every supplement they sell is "Third-party-tested". This is because independent research has revealed that some supplements were found to contain very little or actually zero of the ingredient they were being sold for. If you are considering a supplement for an ailment or condition or just want to ensure you are bringing your A-game to meet your challenges, you can confidently shop here. Not always true when shopping online and I write this with first-hand experience. Going the natural route for healing is very effective and money-saving, I have seen it repeatedly, but you have to have the right supplement! Another upside of the natural route is that you don't get the laundry-list of negative side effects sometimes associated with man-made pharmaceuticals. If you do have questions about which supplement, will be best for your situation, drop in and see Nicole or Dan. They are often in the supplement section assisting folks and are very knowledgeable and always helpful. Definitely shop here if you are looking for clean meats, organic produce, a great variety of packaged grocery items from pastas and tomato sauces, to cereals and snack chips! They even carry soaps and toiletries. Another thing I will mention, I have seen the prices coming down, even with the present inflation we are experiencing in this economy. Annie's Mac and Cheese for $1 per box! Their sale items are significantly marked down, and change monthly, and often beat other big grocery stores in price for the same items, even with all the afore-mentioned benefits of shopping there. I have seen locally grown produce and meats produced by smaller independently owned farms there. Obviously they try to support local farms, which I really appreciate. Do yourself a favor and go see for yourself! I bet you...

This place used to be great until today 10/7/23. I came in 10/3 with my daughter and purchased various items amounting to $119.08 one of those items being an Expired turkey meat that had the freeze by or sell by date of 08/28/23. I brought it into the store today Saturday 10/7/23 and was referred to the store manager. She was rude, demeaning, and clearly needs a lesson or two on real customer service. She started off by telling me the meat wasn't expired and that it says freeze by the date of 08/23 and that what was done. I attempted to explain that I get that but when I purchase meat I am assuming the expiration date is at least 2months or more out from the date that I purchased so I thawed it out for a few days then getting ready to cook it and I saw the date. So I brought it in and she refused to return it. She asked me for a receipt; the one day my receipt got thrown out. I said I have the card I paid for it with. She took my card to the back and was gone for at least 7 minutes and came back and said that meat had not been sold in over a month, my card wasn't in the system, and that there was no record of me being in the store 4 days ago. I am already super upset because now this woman who is the manager is calling me the customer a liar indirectly, I was there with my two kids trying to explain to her that I do not want expired meat yet she proceeds to tell me that meat doesn't expire. Since I have moved to FL I have been shopping at Diane's at least 2 to 3 x a week. Now with this service I do not want to step foot in there. After she informed me that the return policy is 14 days and I could take my expired meat back, I left it there as I said I do not want expired meat! & The return policy does not apply to me because I was just in there 4 days ago, but since she "checked" and said I wasn't because there was no record with my card or purchase, she would not refund the $11 I paid for that expired meat. Every penny for me counts, and the last thing I want is to be trampled by some rude inconsiderate woman that is in a management position with zero customer service. Nonetheless I came home pulled up my bank statement and sure enough I was at Dianes on 10/3/23 and spent $119.08... I am not going back to argue with ignorance. I know I was there, I know what I bought, and I want a refund for being sold expired meat, and an apology for lack of customer service. I truly hope the owner reads...

Diane's Natural Market. RUDE!...not just unfriendly but carelessly rude..and i believe they dont care. You're not welcome there...the workers are not genuinely happy there and it comes across to customers....... Ive visited 2 x in my life, once 2 years ago, once yesterday ... both times bad and then the latest is the worst experience ever ..total social incompetence....borderline anti-social..

10/31/2018 yesterday..Diane's Natural Market Cafe coffee shop area stops serving drinks at 330pm, but stays open until 7....Im in the cafe, from 5:15pm to 6:43pm, its empty, Im on my computer, hv my receipt from early order.., im finish up my day work ....at 6:40pm, a man with no name tag, no id, flannel shirt, no smile, goes by the name of "owner" approaches me and tells me his staff noticed "I've been here for a while" he said employees "noticed a pattern"..something.blah blah, I tell him to not approach my table and talk at me, unless he has something friendly to say, ..his territorial ego kicks in thicker, he speaks more,, blah blah, i cant hear him, i just can see he's short with people, abrasive, i just want him to go away..I feel disgusted, sickened at level of social competency, how uncomfortable i feel..he goes on and on. This social communication from a local grocer is an insult to the local city and does more harm than good to the business..

This store is not a happy, friendly healthy energy place..it's not welcoming ..you're not genuinely wanted there..this is the "owner's" fault, and it flows through its employees... You can feel it. ..the surface is empty and fake...i felt this 2 years ago, i feel it now that they have a higher lease to pay, and their stressed for profit..

the store mentality still has the territorial local-folks, no strangers no-familiar-faces-welcome mentality.....this is not...
