The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Florida

I have been buying HBH for decades so it was the perfect choice for Christmas dinner. I’d always loved them and even bought ham bones for their fabulous split pea soup………until this year. My first bite was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. I asked my daughter to taste it and she said the same. We tried to eat some for our Christmas dinner, but we had to focus on the sides. I tried calling them and the store manager was off that day. I was assured he would call me the next morning. Nothing. I tried calling for several days after that and no one answered. Finally I drove up there and they were CLOSED due to “electrical” issues!!! I’m not sure what to do next but to have this issue with the difficulty just talking to them about it makes me really hesitant to give them...

Recently I visited the Honey Baked ham on Pine ridge to buy a ham bone for cooking with a bag of dry beans. (a great hearty meal that lasts for days when we're feeling economically challenged) I had forgotten all the extras you can get there, even when it's not a holiday. aside from the meaty ham hock, I also left with a Tuscan style broccoli and scallop potatoes frozen side dishes. Some hot macaroni & cheese that they serve with their lunch service. And a bunch of chocolate chip cookies. Everything is so delicious there. Everyone at home was super pleased with our dinner. Plus the staff are amazingly kind and helpful. I believe God sent me there because I was feeling overwhelmed that day and he knew I would leave with renewal of my trust and hope in life...

The woman at counter was not rude, but not friendly either. Ham sandwich was very good. Seemed to have more ham on it than usual. YOUR SIDES ARE TERRIBLE! Bring back the potato salad with the sour cream base. Get rid of the kettle cooked chips, bring in regular and baked chips. Make sure you have both sweetened and unsweet tea available in the middle of the day. You were out of sweet tea. When the main item I came in for was excellent, and you're still rated a 2, should be easy fixes if you listen to...
