Horrible experience here. The food I ordered was cold and the remainder of the order took extremely long to come out. When I went to sit at a table with my husband, the first table was dirty. He picked up our tray with the food on it and relocated us to a high top table; however, the table was unsteady and barely big enough for the tray, causing his Malta beverage to tip over and break on the floor. The beverage was in a glass bottle, so there was liquid and broken glass all around the area. We received an awkward stare from the staff, who did not even ask if we were okay from the glass that had broken, and instead angrily told us to move to another table. They didn’t even place a sign or block off the area and came to clean it much later. Anyone could have slipped and fallen or cut themselves on the glass. After apologizing for the spill, we politely asked if it would be possible for my husband to receive another Malta and were told “no because it was not our fault the drink fell. If we had broken it that would be different.” They also stated they were not obligated to provide us another drink. I told them I understood they were not obligated and that it was extremely poor customer service and I would definitely be writing a negative review and never coming back. I don’t expect anything for free, but the proper thing to do when an accident happens at a restaurant is to provide the customer with a replacement drink if it spills, not to make the customer feel as if it is their fault. Additionally, the bathrooms are locked and require a key. I needed to use the restroom, but various staff members kept going to the bathroom, staying in there a long time, and coming back out on their cell phones. On top of everything, the staff were not properly wearing their masks to cover their mouths and nose and were even preparing the food this way. This is a health violation and Osceola County ordinance violation that will be reported to the Florida Department of Health. After the entire ordeal, they then offered to give us a new drink, but it was too little too late. We decided to leave because of the horrible experience. I spent $28 on cold food and horrible service, never going back. You are losing a customer that spends about $30 each time over a $2 drink, poor service, and not being able to properly wear your masks...
Read moreThe honeymoon didn't last. After visiting the place for the second time my disappointment grew even more. During my first visit to the restaurant with my wife it was around 1:00 pm the place was empty so we walk straight to order. The young lady taking our order was rushing us like the place was on fire and she wanted to get rid of us in a second. Per my wife insistence I went to the restaurant to pick up an order she placed over the phone. When I asked for the order at the counter one of the employees handed me my order and I left. The employee didn't say thank you or asked for a payment, so I thought that my wife already paid over the phone when she placed the order. To my surprise when I got home I got somebody else order (two big foam containers with a lot of food). My wife decided to go back to the restaurant to pick up our order and returned the other. The employee who took the order said that she was calling my name for the order (remember it was an order over the phone). She then took the order my wife took back and like 5 minutes later handed the correct order to my wife, that by then was cold and super greasy. The employee entered the amount to be paid on the tablet and disappear, my wife paid for the order and nobody even apologize for the mistake or even say thank you. On the other hand and this is my main concern, other than people without manners, that the employee saved the food that was returned waiting for the correct customer. I am wondering if the same thing happened to my food, going outside the restaurant to somebody's else house and returned. Poor judgement. When my wife got home decided to contact the manager to let her know about the incident in private, but the employee who answered said the manager was to busy to speak at the time and to call back at another time. Well, it don't matter anymore. Rates: Service 0, Price 2, Quality 1. Don't waste your money...
Read moreMy new favorite Latin restaurant. Very good Puerto Rican food. Every time I go to a new latin restaurant I get the same dish to see if they pass my taste test, a simple white rice w/ pollo guisado. This place passed with flying colors. Perfectly seasoned chicken, soft and tender and juicy. Now, I went the past 2 days in a row. First day a customer who was ordering ahead of me gave complaints that the employee had completely ignored her while she was trying to order, the employee apparently just went to the back and hid there and another employee took the customers order. Today I went with my grandmother and experienced the same exact treatment from the same employee. A little blonde lady. She was literally at the counter face to face with my grandmother and she was trying to ask her if they had an item in the back that wasn't on the display shelf and the employee completely ignores her and walks away. I get that some restaurants may be busy but a simple yes or no question shouldn't take too much of your time. All the other girls that work there are super nice and show great customer service but that blonde lady is an issue. Other than that, great food, good price. 10/10...
