I left the original review (below)
TLDR; nothing exceptional on par with any other Indian restaurant I've had. Watery curry 😒. No updates photo but if you look at the photo I posted and how thick it looks now compare that to tomato soup made with water. Bad change.
Update
The king has been dethroned, I use to compare every indian restaurant to our first visit here but since returning it is now on par with all the others. The difference? The curry..
The first time we went there the curry was thick, this time around it was very watery which is what all the other Indian restaurants I have had are like. I am unsure if it's because of them trying to make more with less and literally adding water or if because we're Caucasian they change the receipt without us asking them to but either way it's very disappointing.
I personally like a thick curry because it's difficult to eat with naan when it's watery and gets everywhere. Also the coke can we received was barely colder than room temperature which was disappointing. The cloth under the glass was stained, which I get its a restaurant but seeing as they're all white I don't understand why they haven't bleached them. It's just something you don't expect when going to eat somewhere 🤷.
Garlic naan wasn't very flavorful, can't recall if it cost more than regular naan but probably not worth the price increase if so.
Original: Loved it, will definitely return here whenever in the area for Indian food. The waiter (don't recall his name) was very nice and helpful. My son couldn't handle level 2 slice (out of 4) so upon request they made a special batch for him free of charge which I did not expect ❤️.

Read moreI went for the lunch special, the food was alright, I loved the samosa one time and veg pakoda another time, they were pretty good. But few things I greatly disliked: First of all they have one guy as a server doing the work of at least two persons. The service is hence delayed and extremely poor. I had to wait 15 mins to get my dessert after I asked the guy for it. I asked for an iced water and got a regular water instead. Little things matter and add up.
The dessert was messed up for me both times, they have pre-made GulabJamun which they simply heat in Microwave ALONG WITH THE serving bowl (which is a big NO). And I received a super hot gulab jamun served in a super hot mini bowl. I could neither eat the dessert nor touch the bowl. On one occasion I even found a hair on the dessert (See what happens when you rush things?)
The restaurant is hurting first impression by risking NOT employing another helping hand to serve the guests (Mr. Manager/Owner are you reading this?). If you want to grow, investment has to be there and more customers...
Read moreChose this restaurant because it had good ratings. Our experience however was not. The garnish of cabbage was moldy black on all dishes. It was not burnt it was old. The chicken arrived within 10 minutes. The chicken smelt bad and tasted old. All the food wasn't piping hot for an almost empty restaurant which led me to believe that it was not prepared but rather reheated. You can tell when food is fresh and when not. The server was a nice person but didn't understand English. As a person who is a chef at a 5 star 5 diamond restaurant I'm utterly horrified at the service and food I just received. I love supporting smaller restaurants but this was unacceptable and there isn't anyone to actually complain to that can understand from what I gathered. Very disappointed. I would really give this place a miss. It's not worth spending that amount of money for sub standard food. Do better. Take pride in your food. We work hard for our money. Why should we be served old and...
