Arrived on Friday, Oct. 14th 2022. Staff especially Olivia at the front desk was great. Super friendly. Room was clean. Pool is small but clean. Pool towels are given at the front desk. Breakfast is ok if you like bagels (a bit stale), cereal, running eggs, sausage, waffles you can make, juices, toast, etc. We enjoyed our weekend at this hotel UNTIL our departure day Sunday, Oct. 16th, 2022. We went to start up our car and heard a loud noise coming from our car. We thought at first it was someone else's car but unfortunately it was ours. My husband looked under our car and our catalytic converter was completely cut off from our 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Unreal. I went into the hotel office and told the gentleman at the front desk what had happened so I told him and he looked at me like I was speaking Chinese to him and then he said he had to call the manager and he didn't know if I had noticed all the signs in their parking lot that said the hotel is not responsible for anything that happens to your vehicle. I asked to see the video camera from the back of the hotel and he said the hotel policy was that only the police can see it. My husband had already called the police. When the police arrived they said catalytic converters are being stolen off cars was a hot commodity in Orlando. The police did the report and then went into the hotel to review the video. The Sheriff said we could leave and it would take a few days to get the report done. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We will stay at hotels with security from now on. It's a shame because this was a good stay at this hotel but your safety, your pets safety and your car are not safe at this hotel. The hotel should consider security besides cameras. Hopefully the cameras aren't just for show. What an expense even with insurance we still have to pay $500 deductible. La Quinta Inn by Wyndham needs to do better for their customers. I'm even going to close my credit card with them. See the attached picture of the converter cut off our new...
Read moreWe stayed here last October and I promised we would stay again due to the amazing staff and we did! Check in was still as easy and the best that I’ve had at any LQ. Upon check in I just needed my ID and everything was ready. Nothing to fill out, just sign and go. I did ask for a pet friendly room in the booking but they had us in a normal room and had to change, but the desk associate made it easy and just changed it fast in the system. We travel with 2 small dogs - were told that pet friendly rooms are the first and second floors. We were on the second floor right by the stairs to the back door which was excellent for us.||We did not need to use the pool or plan to, but it did not seem that anyone was using so I wasn’t sure if it was closed. The hot tub was closed, but that did not mean anything to us. We only ate breakfast one day but it was good with a variety of a little bit of everything. Lobby was clean, hallways were bright. My fiancé used the gym and had no complaints. Staff still remains the friendliest staff I’ve ever dealt with at a hotel. At checkout I made this comment to the 2 workers in the lobby to which they stated that this is the new standard for LQ hotels. I wish all LQs would follow this model!||We are easy care guests with no extra needs or requests so there is nothing I can say about extra needs. The only things that would have made the stay better is if the bathroom was a little brighter and the room was a little less humid. Even with the air on, the room was very humid the whole time. I will say that it seems the walls are thin like others have said as we did hear lots of banging several nights until early in the morning in the room next to us, but not to the point where we felt the need to report it to the front desk.||Thank you again, LQ, for the excellent hospitality and being the BEST pet friendly hotel I could ask for. I hope you keep these standards for the foreseeable future. We will be back...
