So, let me preface this with the fact that I'm not from the area. I'm on a trip with my family and I'm super anxious and really don't feel well. Now that that's out of the way, I was able to find this Hungry Howie's right around the corner from my hotel. So the first compliment, this location is extremely convenient, and they're actually fully staffed (at least at the time of writing this, 7:20 on a Friday) The second compliment is; everyone who I interacted with was very polite, that's so rare these days. Especially during what clearly was peak hours. This location is a paragon of humanity, especially these days where everyone seems so lost. Everyone in this store deserves to be appreciated. I highly recommend this location, and honestly, in any other scenario I'd like to take them all out for drinks. Polite, professional, and empathetic; kind, quick, and quality. If you're in the area, at least pop in and say hi to this staff, they take treat others as you want to be treated to another level and I appreciate them. Leave them a big tip, they're working hard in there. Also, side note, I used to work for this company in my early 20's and this location was spotless. I ask for a Large Steak n Cheese sub lightly cooked and No mushrooms They repeated my order I could make out lightly cooked so I said No mushrooms he said yes! I picked it up took it to my moms and come home! She calls crying that it’s too cooked and she can’t chew it and it has mushrooms on it! So basically it’s getting thrown in the trash with it having mushrooms she’s allergic! Call the store and I basically get told because it’s the call centers fault and they can’t do anything because the call center never actually put lightly cooked and No mushrooms! Pretty much upset me because I did all I could do and it wasn’t my fault that call center people are idiots! All I asked was take my name and number and make it right on my next visit! But store couldn’t do that because they made it how THEIR call center sent it to them! You have got to do better HH this wrong and not a good way to run a business! My mom will tell all the snow birds in her park about it and bad reviews to them runs them...
Read moreWe placed our order online at 8:15 pm on a Sunday evening. An hour passed. No pizza delivery. We called at least 10 times and the phone was busy. Finally more than 90 minutes after our order was placed the store called asking if we still wanted our pizza - they'd gotten "really busy" and had run out of ingredients... oh, so sorry about that. We said no, we had given up and had placed an order elsewhere. (By the way, Pizza Hut had a delicious pizza ready for us in 15 minutes and it cost $10 less!) We asked that our money be refunded and the girl on the phone said it would be done. Four days later we still have not received a refund of $26.38 on the pizza we never received so we called the store and the girl who answered the phone told us the manager would take care of the refund in a few more days when they come in to work.
