Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Florida

I like their pizza best out of all the cheep fast food style pizzas. I just had a really bad experience with having my order canceled. I usually call in an order but when I checked at 11:23pm to see if they were still open I saw an online only promotion that I wanted. I got my qualifying order together and kept trying over and over all different ways, going back to check the promotion and finally gave up on the fake discount. It was on their website not some other one. By the time I entered my credit card and got the order placed it was 11:50. A few minutes later they called me and canceled the order because I didn't get it in by 11:45. They should specify that rule on the website instead of allowing everyone to get excited and waste their time and be disappointed. If I had just called it in I would have gotten my order. I tried to explain the problem to the person from the restaurant who called me to cancel it but she obviously didn't care. I bought my grandson a $30 Gift Card for Christmas because he loves Hungry Howies. My son took him to 2 different Hungry Howies at a different location close to where he lives and the gift card would not work so he wound up having to pay for the pizza himself. How Embarrassing!!! I brought the GC with my receipt back to the store in Orange City that I purchased it from and the manager told me he cannot refund my money. I was so upset he “called the owner” and even the Owner refused to refund my $30!!! Are they serious??? Total Bullshit!!! That is HORRIBLE Customer Service over $30???? They did NOT offer me anything for this inconvenience except an “I’m Sorry”. He said “I should be able to use the gift card at their location”. Customer service was right on spot.. Establishment was clean parking lot was clear of debris. Ordering was quick and easy and food came out hot and fresh. I had ordered a couple of sandwiches and some wings. The winds were great I was a little disappointed with the sandwiches they seem more bread than anything when I cut into them. When departing and heading home or elsewhere I would recommend using the light and not trying to merge directly on to 1792 From the hungry Howie's Parking lot exit.( Don't worry it'll be self explanatory when you're there and see what I'm talking about) All around it was a good experience although I am a little disappointed on the sandwich quality and after all that is why I went there.
