Came to this location for a quick lunch. Ordered a #8 with no mayo. Was immediately told by the girl starting the orders that she doesn't handle the toppings, the ones down the line do. I thought to myself, no problem although that was a bit snotty to act this way. I always ensure I say no mayo at this point because I hate mayo and don't want them to assume i want it.
Nonetheless, as I waited for the next workers down the line to ask me what I'd like added to my sub, I noticed a employee grabbed the sub, and started putting mayo, onions, tomato, and lettuce on it as instructed by the girl who started the orders. I assumed maybe this was an online order jumping into the lineup and didn't think much of it considering I was never asked if I wanted these items. Then he turned to the person in line and asked what they would like on their sub. I stopped the employee and asked where my sub was as I was in line before him. He pointed to the sub which had multiple toppings on the sub without asking me a single question if the sub was completed properly. I stated I did not ask for that on my sub, and stated I only asked for no mayo and was told to only speak to the employees down the line on the toppings I wanted.
The girl who took my initial order then began raising her voice to me stating "When you say no tomato we automatically assume you would like your sub "mikes way". I stated back "I said no mayonnaise first of all and you told me not to tell that to you?" I quickly learned the two putting the toppings on the subs were in training by the girl at the start of the order process. I want to be clear this poor review is not due to the new employees training. It is due to the girl at the beginning of the order process training them, and treating me the way she did.
They made me a new sandwich and were quite rude about it putting it together very sloppy and acting as if I was such a huge inconvenience. Last I checked saying no mayonnaise doesn't mean load up the sub with multiple toppings. A simple recheck to see what I wanted would of been sufficient. Again likely a small error in a new employee training on that front, but the fact their trainer assumed and didn't ask me when she told me off to begin with brings out this...
Read moreLeft initial review a year ago....... After today.... I'm updating my review!!! Out of all the locations I've been to [and yes this is my fave location]..... after today.... if Brenda quits or gets fired..... we ride at dawn!!! Best sub ever. Hands down. Tipped $6 for the sheer fact of following the online directions...AND THEN THE AUDACITY OF HOW DELICIOUS SHE MADE IT?! Oh my goodness. She is a gem!!!!
This is absolutely THEE best Jersey Mike's location, hands down. My order has never been wrong. I always order through the app, so thankfully they are also VERY attentive to the "notes" I put in, because I am very particular about how I like my subs!! They always get it right!! The staff is super friendly, especially when I bring my special needs babies in to pick up my orders! Super clean location & I highly recommend this...
Read moreJust a warning. My co-worker had stripes of plastic in her meat. When she called the store to let them know, they were very rude. Reading the other comments it seems to be their way of doing business. This is a dangerous thing and should have at least been looked at or taken seriously, instead they were dismissive. They told her to" bring the sub down", which is ridiculous in my opinion, and they still didn't believe her. (what was the point?) Not only are they rude, their food has gone down hill - low quality, dangerous, and they simply don't care.
