Joe's Naples Park Diner — Restaurant in Florida

I walked in around 830 this morning 5/25/25 I was not greeted by anyone both servers looked at me multiple times but didn’t acknowledge me. I waited about ten minutes then i finally stopped the male server to ask him if they did take out. He said yes he will be with me shortly i waited another 10 minutes all in while other customers walked in the restaurant and was greeted and sat down at a table all while I’m still waiting to give my order. I believe this establishment is not accustomed to serving colored people. I say this because I was the only colored person in the establishment also the looks I got from both servers and some of the customers. The only people who weren’t white in the store was the latin people working in the back. Based on this short experience I felt horrible at this place. I’m glad i didn’t give them the opportunity to serve me or my family any food. I’m sorry but this is my honest feedback of my experience just spending 20 minutes in this place without being even acknowledged by anyone. If this is what you are famous for you...

(Cloak of invisibility.) I have been going to Joe's diner for well over 20 years. Today my wife and I decided to grab a quick late breakfast because we are moving and have things to do. We enter Joe's diner and we're told we could sit anywhere we want. There were three other people in the restaurant at 11:30 on Friday 11/3/23. We sat and waited for someone to acknowledge our presence for 10 minutes. After sitting and waiting a couple walked in the door and were immediately given menus and water. At this point the waitress still hadn't acknowledged our existence. Apparently our cloak of invisibility was working quite well on this day. We then decided to leave and go to the Patio Restaurant just down the street where we served promptly. I know there has been a change of ownership at Joe's but this is unacceptable as this was not a busy time of day. I've always liked Joe's diner. I'm just undecided whether I'll come back or not. I WENT THERE TODAY 7/24/2023. MIMOSAS ARE ON THE MENU SO I ASKED FOR ONE. OH WE DON'T HAVE ANY CHAMPAGNE! SO THEN I ASK FOR A GLASS OF WHITE WINE. OH WE DON'T HAVE ANY WINE JUST BEER. THAT WAS THE FIRST AND SECOND THING THAT PISSED ME OFF! THEN I'M READY TO ORDER AND I ASK THE SHORT HAIRED BLOND TO TAKE MY ORDER. DID SHE? NO! INSTEAD SHE WALKS INTO THE KITCHEN AND ABOUT 5 MIINUTES THIS MAN CAME OUT AND TOOK MY ORDER. OKAY THE FOOD WAS OKAY. THEN I'M READY TO CHECK OUT. AGAIN I ASK THE BLOND FOR MY CHECK. DOES SHE GET IT FOR ME??? NO!!!!!!! SHE GOES IN THE KITCHEN TO GET THE OTHER GUY MEANWHILE SHE'S NOT DOING ANYTHING IMPORTANT AS IT WAS'NT EVEN BUSY!!! SO I GET MY CHECK. I TAKE MY DEBIT CARD OUT AND PLACE IN THE CHECK ENVELOPE ON THE COUNTER. DOES ANYONE COME AND TAKE IT AND CASH ME OUT????????????????????????/NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
