I have been a customer for 20 years since I discovered Jon Smith in Jupiter Fl. I have referred a lot of customers. Today we came here in Boca and had the worst experience. Tables were sticky and you can see the tables next to us were sticky also. We ordered our usual that my wife and I love. The Cajun chicken and a we split a fries. There sandwiches are always good but this was just so bad and I usually don’t write reviews if it’s bad just don’t go back!! But this really hurts a franchise that has always been great. The Cajun chicken sandwich is supposed to taste Smokey and spicy and melted cheese and jalapeño onions. We got boiled chicken with mayo 1 jalapeño on each side and zero flavor. Also the place was 95 degrees. I don’t think the AC was on!! So sad!! The Jupiter store and the Northlake store have always been on point. This location is closer to us and we have had a few soso experience at this one and we let it go!! But today we spent $36 and I gave a 5 dollar tip and when you just take that first bite you look at each other and throw it in the garbage and leave especially that it was so hot in there I had to...
Read moreJon Smith subs my first time and sorry Jon I have never heard of you . When you look at subways you think SANDWICHES...... When you see Jon Smith sandwich shop it look more a hole in the wall of a store its quiet ,simple and non exciting . Coming inside is even more boring but to make up for it Jon did have a lovely sign of things he likes which add a little personal touch the wooden bench gave you a slight nostalgic moment of waiting on a park bench for roadside sandwich to be made now his menu didn't have much to say either he does have some option like another sandwich shop just not Exciting but my sandwich came out good and taste great so I still had to give the stars and credit where it due . I got in around 3pm on Saturday I guess that was quiet hour so if you are looking for quiet date evening I would suggest Jon s it won't...
Read moreThe owners, Tomas and Paola, are wonderful restarauntuers. They have improved their product when they took over Jon Smith Subs. You'll find them to be quite friendly, personable, efficient, and they offer the freshest ingredients in their sandwiches. One or both of them are always on site, which is so important in running a successful restaurant. They do not skimp on the sandwich contents. They have a small team of employees that seem to be a perfect fit to their sub shop. The owners and employees are young, full of energy, and always greet me with a welcome and big smiles. You'll be welcomed and will feel 'at home' with great kindness. If you have not tried this establishment yet, you are missing out on a quality, quick, flavorful lunch. Give them a try. I'm certain you won't be disappointed. I...
