I went there yesterday for lunch with my mother for the First Time and, The Last Time. We were greeted by a nice gentleman and we were seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful explaining certain things on the menu and, gave a good suggestion for me. I ordered the Veggie Burger 🍔, and my mother just ordered 2 eggs with potatoes and it came with 1 slice of bread. The service was good and the food was ok. But, I feel that they are overpriced. My bill came out to $29.00. I'm sorry to say but, That's expensive for just an order of eggs and a veggie burger. I know the burger was $11.00. . So, for 2 eggs and 2 coffees it was $18.00. I enjoy going out to eat but their prices are extremely high. I just don't feel that $29.00 without tip should cost that much for just a Veggie Burger and 2 eggs with 1 slice of toast and 2 cups of coffee. Their Prices are very high, at least in my eyes. Sorry, but as I stated above, $29.00 for what we ate was crazy. Prices aside, our server was friendly and polite. The place is very clean. I personally will not be returning. I'm wondering if they made a mistake on my bill but, I doubt it. Sadly, unless First Watch is sending me a Gift Card for $30.00, I will not be returning for any meal. Prices are Very High and not worth it. I don't recommend going here. Prices $$$. I've been to numerous places and I'd rather spend the monies on a better place. Actually, I could go out for dinner with my mother for just $10.00 -$15.00 more and get more for the money. Sorry First Watch but my meal and my mother's 2 eggs Are Not...
Read moreBEWARE OF THIS RESTAURANT!!! I went out to eat with a friend on 1/3/25 Friday morning, and from the start, things were off. First, there was a hair on the table, sitting in syrup. I let that slide, so we asked them to clean the table, which they did. Fine, no big deal. But then things went from bad to worse.
I ordered the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl, and I found a disgusting green bug INSIDE MY FOOD! That is absolutely unacceptable, especially since I’m pregnant. This is so unsafe who knows how they’re washing their greens or handling their food back there. At this point, I’m not even sure I want to know. Let Food Safety department deal with that.
I asked to speak to the manager. What does he do? He just says sorry. That’s it. No offer to remake the dish, no offer to make things right in any way. He didn’t ask how he could fix the situation, and honestly, after that, I had no intention of eating there anymore. But still, no effort from him to make things better.
I’m completely disgusted, and honestly, I wouldn’t trust this restaurant again. If they can’t even handle basic cleanliness and food safety, I can't imagine what else they’re...
Read moreWhen someone walks in with a service dog, if you question them about their animal then make sure your ears are open to hear the response. When asked what my dog was a service dog for, after my answer the manager stated that he would let us in this one time. My response was, No you’ll let us in every time since you have no authority to tell anyone with a service dog they can’t come in. As I pulled out his service ID the manager back peddled but the damage was already done. If he ever approaches my service animal or myself again my next step will be to headquarters serving them for illegally telling us we can’t come in. I’m not walking in with a dog in my purse, I’m walking in with a working dog with “service” written across his entire harness. He lays under the table and doesn’t bother anyone as HE IS WORKING. The manager needs to be retrained on how to handle customers and service animals before a lawsuit is what sets him straight. And starting in with a customer in the middle of a restaurant full of people on a Saturday morning was the worst way to say “Welcome to First Watch” especially when you had no grounds to...
