Worst customer service, disrespectful staff, dirty and unsanitary place. I ordered two drinks, I specifically asked the girl who took my order to make sure my drinks had very light ice because I’m sick and have a bad sore throat, instead my drinks had EXTRA ice, I took a sip and it was so cold with much ice in it, I went back to address my concern respectfully with the girl who took my order, very rudely without even apologizing or acknowledging that she didn’t follow instructions on how I wanted my drinks, she took the cup out of my hand and removed the ice cubes by using the same metal spoon they use to mix all their drinks then handed it back to me, note, she took back the same cup that I had already taken sips out of to remove the ice! Not only I thought to Myself that this act was so disrespectful but also so unsanitary. I wonder if she even washed or sanitized that spoon before she mixed someone else’s drink with it, especially that I’m sick!
I will never return nor will I ever suggest this place to any of my friends or family.
Edit: to reply back to the owner, it wasn’t a bad experience simply because my drink had too much ice!!! It was a bad experience because the way it was handled and the I was treated as a customer!!! Either way thank you for your kind reply and apology, only if your staff, specifically the girl who did this was as kind as you this review wouldn’t have...
Read moreStaff was sweet enough but my Taro was awful and extremely expensive. A small was $7.33. They tried to make it up to me by making me another drink but I really would've just rathered a refund. There was so much sugar in it, it was inedible. The staff told me that refunds weren't allowed per management and I find that to be ridiculous, especially if I'm not interested in anything else on the menu. If you want great taro that doesn't cost and arm and a leg, I'd recommend Kaleisia, Midtown Boba, Kaffeina, Bam Bar, TeaStori in Tampa or literally anywhere else. As a person who wanted good local bubble tea, this is extremely disappointing.
**As a response to the comment below: like I said, the drink came out to be $7.33. Whether it be dairy free or not, everything was ala carte and a small drink was still almost $10. Taro is naturally going to be 3rd most popular because its popular at every bubble tea shop. Customer service was good, but would've been better if I had gotten a refund for something I didnt like. Also, offering me a discount is not a solution to the problem after buying something I wasn't...
Read moreMy Daughter and I asked for a Mango slush Boba drink and the server said we don’t have it in the Menu but we can make it, okay we’ll take that. Once we got the drink it tasted Bitter, watery not sweet at all, the Mango Flavor was completely MIA. I made them aware of it, and she acted “surprised” and said it should be sweet… well after few seconds of going back and forth with her about the ingredients and taste of their so called “Mango slush” she mentioned that the base ingredient was Green tea. Uhm I asked for Mango flavor drink not green tea! We don’t like green tea so it’s going to be a strong flavor to taste. 1. She didn’t mentioned there was going to green tea in there and she just proceeded to say. Oh there had to be a base flavor somehow. Yea but at least ask if we are ok with it. What if someone is allergic to an ingredient. With her careless face she just said you have to purchase another drink we cannot change the drink you already bought. To me is more like a way to get more sales. Overall Bad experience...
