Though the cafeteria line outside was amazingly long it moves quick. They have a good system only if your outside ordering thru cafeteria window. Another day, I went in for a late breakfast (11am) with my daughter during my birthday week & we got seated inside right away. From that moment on it went down hill. The waitress took almost 10min to come by to take our order. She did apologize afterwards & took our order. We immediately got served our coffee, toast & ham croquettes while we waited. I went to ladies restroom & it was a mess. Trash bins full of toilet paper, paper all over the floor and my stall had no toilet paper I had to use paper towels instead. Dirty messy bathroom yuk. I step outside & our breakfast not there yet. We watched everyone else get theirs but us! So we waited & waited & waited till my patience ran out. We never saw our waitress until I saw her passing by quickly & questioned her about our order. She was in shock thinking we had our breakfast already and apologized. She quickly went to kitchen to expedite our order. Within a few minutes we received our breakfast at table. We began cutting into our food when we noticed the eggs were under cooked, my steak was raw inside yet cooked outside. They rushed our food without proper cooking! At this point I'm steaming and waitress comes by to check on us & I kindly reminded her how she brings our order late, food is uncooked & at this point I've lost all interest in eating & how I don't want to pay for an uncooked meals. Again, she apologized and took our breakfast orders off the bill. She says that it gets crazy busy when breakfast ends (11:30am)and lunch starts. I left no tip and I won't consider eating inside EVER AGAIN IN MY LIFE! Horrible service if you go...

La Carreta, (11740 SW 88th St., Miami, FL 33186) what a lovely restaurant, good food and service and atmosphere, definitely will be returning back.

The service is unmatched. The staff truly cared about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we ordered was as Obi (the Manager) had described. And…I would like to express a personal thank you to Obi for making possible the catering for this even.

I can’t stop thinking about how amazing you, the staff, and the food was. And my guests can’t stop talking about it as well!! It was a hit!! I’m so thankful for you and for everything that you did. It was spectacular!!! You are truly a kind, gentle, caring human, and it meant the world to me that you you worked with my nephew to accommodate our budget. That put me at incredible ease and went above and beyond what I expected!

I love that you get a lot of food as well for the price. It's definitely not like other expensive restaurants and you only get a small amount of food.

The food was sooooo delicious!!! My family who is full of foodies can not stop talking about it. They raved over the Fried Chicken, Ropa Vieja and Moro. I asked all of them if they were pleased any they said 100%.

Your waitresses were amazing as well!! They took care of every guest with a smile! Your other staff was fantastic too. They all made sure our needs were met!!

We would book you again and again for any future event of this nature.

Front desk staff /hostess extremely rude. Manager is ran by staff and doesn’t take action . If you value your business and the respect your customers, then these people should be doing something else and not be at front of any business. The lady taking orders acts entitled, like you are bothering by picking up your order. Hangs up at dnd of order without any r weird. Picks up phone puts You on hold as no one tells you that you are on hold. Line just goes dead. No music today let you know that you are on hold so she assumes you will just sit and see if they hung up or coming back to line. Once back on line is extremely ride(can’t be bothered with your order) and you pick up , surprise, her attitude in person is worse. You all need help. There’s better places to go. No one needs to be treated wrongly just because you are trying to pick up your food and they don’t want to work. Bigger businesses than this have folded because of service and you are not exempt. This lady even backed abs crossed her arms as if she was ready for a physical fight. What is this? ! Been going every week for years with my children. Won’t go again and roll make sure to forward the word to not go there. Going there may result in a physical confrontation with a person that simply does not want to work and is why customers bother her. .
