Extremely disappointing. Best part of our meal was the tartar sauce. "Chunky" lobster bisque - only 2 tiny pieces of lobster in it for $9. Clam roll - only 3 clams, breading soggy/undercooked, and a watery sauce for $20. Over $40 for the smallest amount of lobster I have ever seen on a lobster roll. Sorry, you are not the only lobster roll place in town having lobster shipped here from Maine so that doesn't justify charging more and giving less then every other lobster roll place in town. Upcharge for a very small portion of fries. Woman working the register was unfriendly and clearly annoyed when another couple had questions about the menu. She left/her shift ended, leaving only the cooks, who went in the back. So there was no one to take orders. No one asked any of the customers how their meal was or if they needed anything. Too many other places in town to get good clams and lobster rolls and friendly service. With these prices, mediocre food/tiny portions, and unfriendly service you will not...
Read moreWhat an amazing little discovery in Naples, FL. The wife unit and I were born raised Mainers, so I was truly skeptical going in. I'm here to tell you this place is the closest you will ever be to Maine sitting in Florida! The whole belly clams were off the hook, the Haddock Bites and shrimp were perfectly done, cannot say enough about how good this place is. Lindsay, Matt, and Mark are top-notch customer service oriented professionals. If you haven't been, run there as soon as you can. Some lady made some comments about the size of the portions, considering these offerings are brought down fresh off the boat in Stonington, ME, and driven to Florida so yeah it may be smaller and costs slightly more than a portion in Maine but this is real Maine grub! Overall, i am saying 5-star is too low a rating. They need a new scale called off the chain! I know this was our 1st visit, but damn sure won't...
Read moreThis was the first time we tried this restaurant and I called in an order for pickup. They have a lobster roll and was told that the 5 oz. which is their largest (small 3 oz, med 4 oz, and large 5 oz) could be shared so I went with the 5 oz. and the standard side of potato chips. Cost for pickup $50.00 I was excited to get it home and try it with my SigOther, and looked in the bag, we couldn't believe how little food was in the container. There was 1 piece of Texas toast and I guess 5 oz. of lobster in Saran Wrap along with some chips and melted butter. The person that took my order knew we were sharing it and they could have at least gave us 2 pieces of Texas toast. So we put everything on the single piece of toast and cut it in half and we each got 3 bites. You would need to order a 5 oz./person so that would be $100. At $8/bite it's too rich...
