It's always sad to give a poor review, but I feel compelled to share my disappointment with this establishment. It's compounded by actually liking the other location in Bonita Springs, Maria's on Old 41 in Bonita Springs, which I have given positive reviews previously.

First, let's talk about 2 taco meals, 2 bottles of water costing $37 before tip and served in Styrofoam and plastic utensils. Next, rice that's crunchy isn't cooked completely or properly. Next, ground beef tacos without any seasoning, dry and crunchy meat is overcooked. Finally I couldn't eat it, only 1 small taco was eaten and only ate the amount of rice I could cover with beans. So sad 😢 💯.

Having been to the Bonita Springs location which has cheaper prices, generous portions and authentic flavors and sides, this location is disappointing. It seemed like a completely different restaurant establishment. It seemed like they priced to Naples clients and served poor food without caring about repeat customers.

I hope the owners realize that they shouldn't play to demographics and should provide the same quality food, flavors and portions at all...

BEWARE!!!

I’ve been coming here for takeout on my lunch break for a long time and always loved the food. It’s been one of my favorite Mexican spots in town, quick, flavorful, and consistent. I usually always have an Al Pastor Burrito, it’s my go to.

Unfortunately however, nearly every time I’ve been here, a tip is added to my check after I leave, without my knowledge or approval. It’s a walk-up, counter-service place, and normally they turn the tablet around so you can choose your tip (or no tip), like everywhere else. But this guy who I assume is the owner never does that. He just taps through it himself and adds a tip, which I only catch later when I check my credit card transactions. This has happened 4 times now only when the man is working not the women.

That’s unacceptable. I don’t mind tipping when it’s earned or expected, but adding it without consent is dishonest. I gave it the benefit of the doubt the first time or two, but it’s clearly a pattern. Great food can’t make up for shady business practices. This is ILLEGAL.

I...

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I was genuinely disappointed with the service today. There was a clearly posted Buy One Get One Free promotion, which I was excited about. However, the staff member (who I believe may be new) charged me full price for all the tacos I ordered. When I politely pointed out the sign and tried to clarify, she quickly dismissed me and firmly insisted “that’s just the way it is,” without offering any explanation or taking the time to look into it.

Her tone came off as abrupt and unwelcoming, which was disheartening especially since I genuinely love this place and have always enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately, the experience today left a bad impression and honestly made me not want to return.

I hope this can be addressed with the employee involved, not just for the sake of honoring your promotions, but also to ensure that customers are treated with kindness and respect. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I truly hope...

We love Mexican food and wanted to try a new local spot. Maria’s was excellent. I had the tostadas with beef and Jim got the chicken chimichanga. We ate inside at the small two top table (there are only a few tables inside and outside). The one downside is there is no soda fountain (only cans of drinks in a refrigerator) and the chimichanga was served in a to-go container and we ate in. The pico was fresh and the overall meal was deliciously made to order. Forgot to take meal pics, we were too hungry! Will definitely be back.

By far the BEST taco place I've ever been to (we've been to Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas)! My husband and I will be coming back very soon. Maria was super friendly and sweet. Her traditional Mexican food left us wanting more!! Everything was fresh and homemade - corn tortillas, flour tortillas and of course the flan!
