I have to share this great experience! Especially when I just dealt with a situation at another McDonald's I won't even go into but it was rectified in the end and the manager was great!
So today I go into this one and ordered, I hope it's the correct one because I didn't catch the girls name. Anywho, so I order 2 double cheeseburgers meals and 2 children's six piece meal. She proceeds to tell me the price, not the same girl who handled me in the end but the cashier, which she was very efficient and clear with everything and well spoken gave me my total.
I said okay thank you! So I come up to the window the first girl confirms I'm the one with the 2 double cheeseburgers meal we both didn't go further. I seen a long line and know all too well how that goes as I've worked in fast food 😒 so I know! They kept it moving lol
I didn't want to be the hold up either so I was just like yeah, yeah lol just not thinking.
I get up to the window, now this is the girl I'm writing all this about.
Remember I worked in fast food too!
She was so on top of it I felt rushed like yes ma'am yes ma'am lol she had given me my drinks first and foremost WITH the straws!
THANK YOU first of all for having the drinks ready! I salute you because I hate to sit in the pull over lane and have NO drink! 🤦
I myself, learning the same way, I would do the same! If you're going to make a customer wait at least give them their drinks and ask politely to pull over.
She did! No problem!
I went into lane 3!
Keep in mind it was raining!!!! After serving another car in the rain....
She then came to me within a few minutes AGAIN in the rain. She handed me the bag with the double cheeseburger and one kids 6 piece meals.
By that time I started having flashbacks like, No way not AGAIN!!!!!
LOL 😂
Remember what I said in the beginning! I already had, had a situation!!!
Anyway I proceed to let her know like hey I ordered two kids meals and kept saying sorry because I felt like I was being that bootyhole customer and keeping her in the rain to explain. I was like OMG she hates me I messed it all up and now the line is gonna grow. OMG! Lol
She then comes back a few minutes later, with an umbrella this time thank God because I was like OMG she's gonna always remember me and hate me lol she came out like 3-4 times in the rain not just handling me alone!
I'm talking just completely multifunctional and could jump in where she is at, at work with accuracy and still be ready!
But she comes up and tells me that it was put as 1 kids meal so I was like OMG she came out here and now I'm gonna be the ONE! That customer that all is fast food workers know.
Like the Karen's lol but she said don't worry about it its on us and said "oh and I put the extra fries as you had requested."
That told me she did actually check and seen it was missing and instantly rectified. I was just freaking out by that time mouth open didn't know what to say but thank you and I was just feeling horrible that she was in the rain so many times! I know that sucks and it's so hard maintaining that all at once when the rush comes in.
Anyway, I just continue to say thank you thank you thank you just stuck once again because again she was ready. I was just ready to hand my wallet over and be like here do what you gotta do I'm so sorry 🤦😂😂😂
My point in all this is, is she was simply GREAT!
She ensured I got EVERYTHING in a timely manner and accurately! She remembered my order! She rectified the situation in the end and made me take a seat like okay yes ma'am I'm sorry LOL 😂

Read moreIt's not very often I give a less than stellar review. I can always find something positive to say, unfortunately not this time. The drive thru line wasn't busy at all, one car in front of me who had just finished ordering and 3 cars in front of him. I waited a couple minutes to place my order, no big deal, the gal was friendly. I got up to the pay window, no one there, well actually he was just around the corner propped up on the wall playing with his phone. A good 3 minutes passed and he took my money. No greeting, nothing just took my money. I got up to the food window, my drink was shoved out the window with the guy not even paying attention, it would have dropped to the ground if I hadn't been ready. Then another 3 to 4 minute wait for my food which also was shoved out the window without a glance in my direction. If that wasn't enough, my fries were just dumped upside down in the bag. McDonald's that have working owners usually don't have this kind of service. Perhaps the owner of this particular franchise figures since it is at the corner of SR60 and I95 people are just passing thru and why bother with customer service. More sadly though was the apathetic attitude of the employees. No work ethic, pride in workplace, customer service, just a big fat zero across the board except for the gal who took my order. I travel alot and have choice where to dip in for a quick bite for the road... this location will not be a repeat...
Read moreLove it when an establishment reminds you why you DON’T go there... stopped for a tea off the highway during a long drive home. Went in - figured I’d use the restroom and stretch my legs. Restroom was filthy, and of course, NO TP. Came back out and ordered my tea on the screen at 5:12. No other customers placing orders, about 5 or so waiting on their items. At 5:17 my order # is gone from the screen. I get the attention of one of the MANY employees, who offered to help, and seemed dismayed they cleared my order without filling it. I mean, it’s self serve... all they had to do was hand me a cup. I did all the other work! Go to get a tea, there’s unsweet only (fine by me) marked “use by 2:13pm. For real? I’m not picky... I let my tea sit. But still. If you are gonna mark it with an expiration, probably should abide by that??? Final straw? no pun intended No large lids! Back up the register where I’m again ignored until I loudly ask if I may please have a lid... at which point I also let him know that besides no lids, the bathroom lacks a basic essential, and is dirty. Another exasperated “ugh” from the same employee. No direction to any other employees to go take care of the restroom, just moves on to the next person.
