First of all, this is my favorite store but I typically don’t go on weekends, just happens to be the only place to get food items that aren’t all greasy and meat is cooked well. Always a clean store, always ran well and the cleanest I’ve ever seen I wanted to compliment Manager but that day he was not there. As a matter of fact it’s the only store I go to because the manager runs it very well and I drive from across town to go there and I have a store right next to me. Well today the guy making food looked over his work station when he saw me said “oh my God!” My order wasn’t correct but I didn’t have time to deal with it so I went through drive through to just order another full meal. Then on second order portions were half and menu food items were missing, the girl at window told me “well I don’t make the food!” (Later I find out she is one of the managers) I called to speak to manager and girl at second window (who said, well I don’t make the food!) answered saying she and another manager were there I told her I would come back when actual manager is there. So if she was at window and said “well I don’t make the food”, I would say she isn’t Manager material. The food on second order tasted like soap. So sick of service like this, it’s a trend everywhere you go people working have some kind of self entitled ideology of they don’t think they have to do anything extra even if less is on order, in my opinion makes it simpler to make when it’s less to do; to build order. This doesn’t usually happen here at this store, where people working complain about everything and treat regular customers like trash. Regular or not people have lost what having a work ethic means or they just simply weren’t raised to have one. I will continue to go to this store because during the week it is the best employees and staff always make you feel welcome, not so much on the weekends. Read moreI don't think I've ever reviewed a fast food chain - but today our experience was exceptional and the staff deserve recognition! My 7 year old and I went in for a quick celebratory snack. He wanted a slushy and we ordered thru the automated screen. After we sat at the table, a young lady came over and very apologetically explained they did not have them, offering a shake or something else instead. My son, disappointed, "settled" for a shake and our food came out shortly. A few minutes later, the young lady appeared again with a cup from the Circle K next door and said the manager asked her to go get it. My son was so happy and it was a super thoughtful thing to do. Absolutely above and beyond. The manager came over and kindly spoke with my son, and it was such a nice exchange. While we ate, I listened to the manager encourage his team - reminders to get orders correct, instructions to remain on task - all with a smile and kind words. It is very rare to see this type of leadership these days, especially in a fast food restaurant. On the way out, I was struggling to get the garbage in the little hole over the can. An employee near me quickly removed the can so I could easily throw it all away. I took the opportunity to ask the manager's name and if he was a good boss (Emile? I am probably spelling it wrong, and I'm sorry!). The employee confirmed that yes, he was a good manager. Read more6/30/16 - yet again a lot of bs at this mcdonalds. Sitting the drive thru for more than 6 minutes waiting to have my order taken and finally give up. when i call the store i get a lie about there's only 1 person working and she was dealing with other customers. news flash, there wasn't a SINGLE car there when i pulled up. This is the WORST mcdonald's ever, the management is inconsiderate and blatantly lies to customers and talks to people like they're idiots. i honestly hope this one either gets shut down or that the majority of the staff gets replaced. it's getting real old people. real old.
I usually go to this McDonald's as it is very close to my home but will NOT be returning. I was asked to wait for over 15 minuets for my food and after watching more than 20 cars be served through the drive-thru I finally got my food which was COLD! In addition they apparently can't keep their soda syrups stocked as I have not been able to get a dr. pepper the past 4 times i've gone to this store. What's happened to this store and why isn't anyone in cooperate doing anything about it? This store used to be awesome now it's just pathetic. If you're in the area go to the McDonald's inside Wal-Mart...not only did that manager offer to replace my order she was also extremely polite and apologetic for the other store's treatment of their customers.
