My wife and I visited this wine bar while in Naples. We weren’t very impressed as we weren’t greeted when we walked in by any staff as we had never been here. Greeted by Diego in an odd way, we were not really told anything about the restaurant or any info, just that they only had 3 selections of wine to choose from and that was all, we had never been to a wine bar designed like this with only that wine as our options. The service was very slow for us though and halfway through our visit we were asked to move down from our spot at a table that we had been at for over an hour to accommodate another couple that sat down after us at the same long table. My wife and I were very irritated by this and it partially ruined our visit that we had to move to the end of the table that wasn’t nearly as comfortable. The seating accommodations are very poorly setup here. On their website it also says nothing about reservations, yet when we got there multiple tables were reserved somehow?! To end our dissapointing experience, we ordered 2 glasses of wine and after getting our bill we were not told that we could have bought the entire bottle of wine for less than the 2 glasses of the same wine. I’m not sure about most people, but this just seems like something any server/waiter would give you a tip about if they genuinely cared about the customer. Very disappointing experience and very poor customer service, would...
Read moreHow can Vegan taste so good?
I was of the opinion that Vegan food tasted bland ...Period! Wouldn't have stumbled on this gem of a place if it were not for an unfortunate broke down car and a girls trip; and I am glad for both of these. We needed a place to wait for an hour or so before our car got fixed and walked in to this cafe, expecting we could order some drinks. The place was quiet as it was almost 7:30 pm and we were the only customer, except for a to-go order. Since there weren't many options for drinks, we went ahead and ordered roasted harvest platter, southwest bowl and quesadilla and awaited skeptically. The food took a little while to arrive but we could see/smell that it was cooked from scratch right in front of us. When at last the food arrived, it appeased our eyes right away. It looked delicious and upon tasting it, each dish out tasted the other - Out of the world good. How can a bunch of leaves, veggies and Quinoa taste SO OUTRAGEOUSLY DELICIOUS was beyond us. The sauces were amazing. Within minutes, the plates were empty and we were still raving. Had no choice but to order a couple more dishes. The staff was so accommodating and took orders past their closing time. At last we were satisfied and left that HAPPY place. We all agreed that Vegan or not, this was HANDS DOWN THE BEST FOOD we all tasted in our recent memories. Thanks for making our unfortunate event the most...
Read moreAfter months of coming to the Natty weekly I can confidently say it’s one of the best spots in town. Delicious natural wine with knowledgeable Diego. He always knows the best pairing and has super interesting background in wines and growers. It’s amazing. The most fire food from Ming and Anna - seriously we order the menu every week and it just doesn’t miss. It’s a great, upbeat vibe. Not the slightest bit stiff. Intimate environment with a fun and light-hearted element. The folks running this place day in and day out clearly love what they do. The product and energy exudes it! — Great wine. Great people. Delicious food. Good vibes all around. Ming, Diego and Peter (AND Anna, Kim and Caleb!!!) are good folks with lots of knowledge and insights they clearly get joy in sharing. We’ve been 3 times since we discovered the little gem in December and every time the staff has been friendly, helpful and attentive. The wine has been delicious (bottles they guided us towards and their regular tastings) every visit and the gnocchi with vodka sauce was heavenly. We will be regulars. There is a $20 corkage fee (overall price on par with local restaurants IMO) so sometimes we opt to grab wine and go but it really is worth the vibe and the wine...
