After being a Marriott customer for over 40 years this is the worst experience and interaction with a hotel manager that I’ve ever experienced I tried to explain to them that I had tried to cancel a reservation using the app which displayed that the reservation was canceled For some reason, the reservation kept popping up and I canceled it at least a week or more before When I saw the reservation appeared this morning it concern me and said we’re sorry we missed you I had other reservations made, and I did not see that one as of yesterday only this morning I called and I got to the manager, Bill who I explained what happened and he’s giving me the business about the app and about customer service and he said he wouldn’t do anything because I didn’t tell him I made a mistake That’s not the way to lifelong Customer I have contacted my credit card company and sold them. I will not pay for that charge. That they never swiped my card and I will not authorize the charge I will take some kind of legal action against the owner of this hotel and recommendations to the general public stay away from here. They’re plenty of other Marriott and which the front desk is much nicer. After looking at some of the negative reviews on here, see the owners response is always lipservice This hotel committed fraud ! They were not authorized to use my card. They did not swipe it and I did not sign for anything. I will have them prosecuted
Because of the way I was treated I intend on making a big...
Read moreWell maintained, great renovations, I like the cafe/bar space that they have downstairs. Friendly staff, clean and convenient. Free WiFi is a huge plus, fitness center is 3 treadmills and a small weight rack, not great, but doable. Pool is nothing special... But the beach is so close. Conveniently located, close to the beach, major roadways, restaurants, etc.
Only reason for 4 stars is the window AC units. With this humidity in South Florida, the room always feels damp at any temperature setting, and you have air blowing directly on you from a noisy unit. I know that installing central AC is nearly impossible, easier to just demolish the building and put up a new one. And usually I don't complain about things that are out of the facility's control, but these AC units are a major comfort factor. On the positive side, there is no carpeting in the rooms, so musty smells are a non-issue.
Keep in mind, I'm writing this review in July, which is the hottest, most humid month of the year. This is probably not such an issue December through April, when this area gets busy. That time of year, the weather is in the 70s and it's low humidity with sunny, clear skies.
All in all, I'd suggest staying here. Especially if the forecast is pleasant weather, the AC won't be an issue. Staff won't let you down and the rooms are well appointed and cozy. Also, you can use your personal Netflix or Hulu account to stream shows on The 55" TV in your room. Big...
Read moreWe booked 2 bedrooms for 2 nights and overall we had a nice stay here. It was a family and relatives weekend at Naples' beaches. 1 bedroom had 2 queen and 1 queen sofa bed (3 adults and 2 little ones) and the other room was a regular 2 queen beds (2 adults and a kid). Rooms were big and comfortable enough with desk and chair, TV, small fridge, coffee maker, iron board, hairdryer, lots of towels. The bathroom could be a bit bigger and the shower curtin newer but everything was clean. I wouldn't say the beds are really comfortable and the pillows didn't help my neck (side sleeper). The hotel itself has many amenities like a small pool, jacuzzi, chairs and towels, meeting room, TV area, computers, printer, a bar to have from breakfast to drinks at night. Ice machine in each floor and water dispenser in the lobby. We went to the nearby pancake house called Blueberries for our morning breakfast (hotel recommendation) which is walking distance next block from the hotel. Employees are helpful and attractive. Self park always available outside the hotel. Hotel is well located, 2 miles from a family friendly beach and 5 miles from Naples Pier (another nice beach to visit), and full of restaurants around also markets and the zoo. Overall a great stay...
