Where do I begin?!?! We came late on a Saturday night and I expected the restaurant to be quite busy but this location has the worst service and the cooks do not know how to cook steak or anything else for that matter. The only reason I gave it 2 stars for service is because the manager was so nice for offering to personally cook a new steak for me after I had to send mine back twice for not being cooked the way I asked. She also took my meal off the check which I was not expecting or wanting her to do. Normally I'm a well done girly and had it been the slightest pink like my husband's (also supposed to be well done) I would have just eaten it, but this was practically still mooing at me. The waiter, not sure if he was new to the wait/customer service game, but he took forever to come greet us and get our drink order. As in 20 mins after we had been seated. We weren't his only table left waiting for what seemed an eternity either. The family next to us had been at their table long before we were even seated and still waiting on him to even ask for drink orders. He would disappear to the back for 10-15 mins and come back. It's not like they are the ones to actually serve our drinks, appetizers or meals. They have runners to deliver everything. They literally tap on an ipad and they're done. Not once did he refill our drinks. I used to be a waitress so I usually give some slack to the staff on busy nights but come on man.... we would have had faster service at the ALWAYS packed our Tecas Roadhouse. 3 stars for atmosphere only because of the folks who decide to bring their small children out to a restaurant and then let them yell and run circles around the table almost tripping the wait staff trying to deliver big trays of hot food while you casually chat it up with the other adults. I'm not saying don't bring your children to restaurants, but teach them how to behave and use inside voices. We will not be visiting this...
Read moreI came here on a Friday night with my son who is a newborn baby and I had a server named Nick. Now this location is in a busy area, so a Friday night here was extremely busy and crowded. Actually, I only came here by default because originally I was going to Texas Roadhouse next door, but the restaurant had about 200 people (literally!) outside waiting for a table. Here at Outback, I was greeted in a reasonable amount of time once I sat down to my table, which I always look for when I go to a restaurant, even if it’s not my server who greets and acknowledges me. Myself, having worked as a server for several years can be a bit critical when dining out, but I don’t have one bad thing to say about this location or the service that I received here. Nick was super attentive, but what amazed me were the little things that he did not forget. As a server, it’s very easy to forget to grab that table a side of ranch or whatever it is they ask for when the restaurant is extremely busy, but every thing that I asked Nick for, even as busy as he was, he did not forget, nor did I have to wait very long at all. The Ribeye that I ordered was legit the best steak I ever had in my entire life. I ordered it rare and the color when slicing the steak 🥩 down the middle was perfect. The flavors were amazing. Baked Sweet Potato, Mac N Cheese, Asparagus, and Cheesecake were all on point too! When it was time to go, my server Nick even offered to help me to my car, being that I had a ton of stuff to carry, including the diaper bag, my To-Go bag, and the infant car seat. I did not want to put him out so I declined the offer, but it’s definitely the fact that he offered in the first place. Every time I want a good steak in a casual atmosphere with great service, I will only come to this Outback, but only if Nick is working that night so I can sit in...
Read moreYour employees are lazy and rude! This location had 6 workers in the to go area going in and out of that area for literally no reason but to just hang out and chat. Waited over a half hour with no eta or communication on how long the order might be. Busy or not, COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT. ACKNOWLEDGING PEOPLE IS IMPORTANT. Your employees think less of the customers and the drivers that come in to pick up. Your curbside service is terrible. No one knows how to say excuse me before they bust out the door to leave after either. I will be back to make note on this again. But overall, you’ll never catch me eating here. I may not even pick up any orders for work from y’all. Y’all need better employees. They look at folk and just turn around. They hide into the sides of the to go room trying to hide the fact that they are literally doing NOTHING. They had all the shelves full yet nothing was ready? They speak to one person at a time before they go back inside to never come back out even though there are only 2 other customers waiting on curbside. They take the name of the order to just never have an answer. Touching the same food containers and opening them to put them back. Touching their hair and phones while handling the food!!!! I dont know about you but I wouldn’t want someone with dirty hands and someone’s hair possibly falling into my food bag or food because people refuse to put their hair up while working with food or refuse to stop touching other objects whilst working with someone’s dinner!!!!!
Oh and I’ve had outback, it’s subpar ! Texas Roadhouse is better with service, and food!!!!! Shame they gotta put up with...
