This was by far the worst Panera I’ve ever been to. To be fair, the food was consistent with what you would expect. I was happy with the actual food. That’s said I had pre-ordered for Pickup at 11:30 for a lunch meeting with clients. I assumed they would have been prepared for the order since it was in the night before. They did not start my order until 1130 and it took over 30 minutes to get the order to me. The issue I had more than anything was that there were 10 people who ordered in house and got there food before I received anything. Again, I ordered mine the night before and set it for 1130 before the lunch push.
I felt this was not acceptable to be 30 minutes late on a pre-order and voiced my displeasure to the so called manager Heather. Heather essentially threw my bags on the counter and was very rude about them not having enough staff. She basically said she didn’t care I had to wait 30 minutes on a pre-order because they were understaffed. At no time did anyone seem concerned not where they doing anything to make it right.
Panera has hit or miss locations as I have used them a lot for lunch meetings since Covid and I will be looking for other options based on the customer service not the food.

Read moreThe worst Panera Bread ever! This evaluation is not due to only one failed experience. This is a summary for 6 months of poor service. The food quality is ok (the same as other Panera Breads). The ambiance is not the worst, it is busy but nothing weirdly wrong. BUT service and management are awful! just to mention a few: Do not visit after 20:30 or 21 because most of their inventory is gone and they do not have so many items. They forget chips, bread and sides that are supposed to come with your food. If you don't notice, good for them! but if you do, "sorry about that" is the answer you get (every single time!) The table was dirty which made my shirt dirty before an important meeting, guess what the manager said, "sorry for that, they just left, thank you for understanding and do you want cookies? (like I am a child that has fallen down running and so I want a COOKIE)" perfect apology and service recovery strategy. I hope the manager receives an appropriate training before destroying this whole place because cookies would not...
Read moreOrdered ahead online (2 bagels and a muffin) came 15 minutes later and the order wasn’t ready. They finally got my order ready and my bagels were super wet and soggy. I asked for slice and toasted. I spoke to the cashier who told the manager. I thought they were just gonna replace since that is the simplest thing you could do. The manager did everything she could to not replace. She held up the line, created a scene, and upset the customer. She said that’s how they are bc they were fresh baked. I’m like so slice and toast them. She continued to refuse saying all of them were soggy. I kept asking to toast them. And SHE WOULD NOT! I was in literal shock. The next part was even more shocking. She got a knife out herself and cut a bagel (wasted it) and STILL DIDN’T REPLACE MY BAGEL. I ended up giving up and leaving with soggy bagel. The least effective management in handling an upset customer. This manager left the cashier unsupported. The manager wasn’t wearing a name tag but was the Mrs Trunchable lady working Sunday...
