First off, I would like to say that I enjoy the pizza made by any Papa John's outlets, regardless of service or treatment. I go out of my way to get their pizza over other fast food pizza establishments.
That being said, my experience with this one in particular was off-putting (which is an understatement). Having done some housework all day on a Sunday, I decided to order from this place for delivery. Due to my proximity from this outlet, I usually carry out. I live right across the street. Now, delivery from a place so close seems unrealistic, but the housework I did was enough to cause anyone fatigue and lethargy afterwards.
Once ordered (online), I checked their website for the "updates" they post on the process the pizza goes through. It hit "Out for Delivery" around 10:10pm, which was on time. I waited 1 hour for the delivery guy to call my cell phone to be let into my complex. The delivery guy's English was atrocious, which lead me to ask him to repeat himself several times. At the end of a 2 minute conversation where nothing was getting done, he hung up on me. I attempted to call the pizza outlet across the street on their number listed here. It was disconnected. Not busy, but disconnected. I proceeded to walk across the street to find out where my pizzas were. The employee at the counter told me that the driver had just left and he was in my complex. The employee also spoke to me in atrocious English, and didn't even call the driver to confirm his location or his attempt at delivery, relying only on a computer and location tracker.
At this point, it was 11:10pm and I was livid. I walked back to my complex and spotted the Papa John's light-up sign on top of a car outside the complex, parked outside the gate. Without even asking me for identification, the delivery guy got out of his car and gave me the pizza. Then he drove off back to his outlet.
If you are going to order from this outlet, I suggest carry-out. Delivery is now a non-starter for me after this incident. 1 hour of wait time for a delivery that should've taken 2 minute is abysmal and counter-productive customer service. I am currently looking for another Papa John's that might be close enough to my apartment, should I ever need...

As of today, July 31, 2024, I am hereby lodging a formal complaint against the Papa John’s establishment from which I placed an order, as evidenced by the attached photo. The service I received was manifestly inadequate and detrimental to me as a customer.
On July 31, 2024, I placed an order through the Papa John’s app, expecting delivery within a reasonable time frame. After waiting for more than an hour, I was contacted by an employee from the establishment to verify my details and address. Despite this confirmation, the order was not fulfilled. Subsequently, after the prolonged wait, I decided to contact the establishment again. On this occasion, I was attended by the same individual who had previously contacted me. This person, in a rude and unprofessional manner, informed me that there was no record of my order in the system.
It is important to note that the responsibility for managing and resolving this situation lies entirely with the Papa John’s staff and their ordering system, not with the customer. The behavior of the staff, characterized by a lack of politeness and direction, reflects significant deficiencies in their training and customer service management.
The manager of the establishment, along with the rest of the staff, urgently requires training in customer service, as their current performance demonstrates a notable ignorance and lack of competence in this area. The service provided is of inferior quality and does not meet the minimum expected standards of customer service.
I request that corrective measures be taken to address these deficiencies and to ensure an adequate level of service for future customers. I reserve the right to take further action if this situation is not resolved...

They were not willing to help me at all, I spoke to Emmanuel first and he told me to go online and figure it out on my own. So I decided to get the manager involved "Chris" and when I was transferred to "Chris" I honestly believe Emmanuel transferred me to another employee instead. Managers would normally override the situation and be HELPFUL in the sense of the site or the discount. Chris decided to give me the customer service number instead... Once customer service was able to get my code working, I ordered my pizzas how I wanted. The delivery came and my pizzas were not how I wanted. I'm positive Emmanuel and Chris realized that it was the same person that called before and made sure to mess up my order. I ordered two pizzas, one was perfect the other was wrong. The delivery driver told me he would come back with the right one. The store called me minutes after blaming me that I put in the wrong order, which I didn't. 30 minutes later.....the pizza came and it looked/smelled like the dough was really old. I coincidentally drove by the store later on and got a picture of an employee on his phone. Which means they had plenty of time to help me with the site but decided not to. I had family and kids over and that's unacceptable to me and with any other customer. Very displeased and would never order from this Papa John's and will even say the whole company at that.
